He didn’t say anything to the ump. He walked straight to the dugout. I came to this thread and posted immediately that it was hilarious Hoerner got tossed that quick, it was lame. He shouldn’t have been ejected. But doing what Greene did guarantees you stay in the game.
not worried about the Phillies, but I did make note when they won 9 in a row and 11-2 at the end of May and they rocketed up meaningless power rankings, they played the following teams: (3) Pirates, (4) Rockies, (3) As, and (3) Braves. Nothing against the Phillies, but baseball media should do a better job of discussing teams when they get red hot beating the shit out of the garbage teams in the league. If the Mets end up going a 6 game winning streak, we should not forget they got Colorado and Washington on the schedule back-to-back.
I don't care about them. it was just anecdotal evidence about how the sports media talks about baseball during the regular season. I understand it isn't important. just shooting the breeze.

I hate when the Mariners are being aired on anything other than their local network. I get so much more statistical information when Root is broadcasting
That’s a wild turn from how MLB initially felt about him and his content. I love Jomboy stuff, though, good for them.
He said it won’t change the content and MLB has no creative control. But they will get more access and should be able to have more guests from MLB in content.
Yea I'm afraid it becomes more than just interviewing players and managers and not them just talking ball. I enjoy them interviewing Boone but that's one guy.
