I've always wondered if the Brewers make decisions on their roof/outfield panels with competitive reasons based on pitching matchup.

 

And Seattle is like a wrestling faction that every time an offensive player thinks he might have a win somewhere, some other member of the Seattle offense hater faction comes out to interfere and stop it from happening. Get through the stadium dimensions, batter's eye, marine layer and other elements? Here's the wind to knock it down.

 

Seems like half the league built their stadium in the wrong direction smh

 

I've made the MLB parity argument in the past and there are legit reasons for it. But it's also kind of dumb to pretend like the Pirates and Dodgers have the same ability to spend even if the Pirates' owner sucks and doesn't want to. Particularly when you consider the way contracts in MLB are structured compared to the NBA and NFL.

There is no answer on how to change a system this broken. The current system is too advantageous to both the league and players in different ways to ever change it to make more sense for both sides. The brokenness of the system is also the reason any level of parity is possible right now.

I mean he did just play first for the Yankees in the playoffs so it’s not like it’s unprecedented. However if they really need someone to play first for a while if Busch were injured, I’d guess it’ll be Tucker. I know Caissie is a corner outfielder but I would still like to see him get more reps at first so they have an internal option

If they actually sign Turner (which I’m skeptical), he’d be the final bench bat and gage workman is off the team

I'm not sure that's even real. Saw that report floating around being attributed to a segment on mlb radio and someone went back and listened and the only mention of 6 years was they mentioned "if the Tigers go 6 years it would likely get it done".

 

Not really surprised by any of these. The Indians are probably the first team that comes to mind when i think of CC, but Yankees are close behind and I'm sure they are first team that comes to mind re: CC for many of you
