I saw a rumor about Paredes and Suzuki for Tucker and thought that sounded like a lot for a potential 1 year rental

 

I think it's just really hard to compare to other trades because MLBer for MLBer deals are really rare nowadays. I read the names and I get confused.

I also forgot how insane Tucker was last year because he missed so much time. He had a 180 wRC+ and was on a 8+ fWAR pace in half a season.

 

I’m seeing more that it’s either Paredes or Suzuki and then some prospects not both of them. That seems reasonable, especially Paredes who will hit 30+ home runs in the Crawford boxes.

In the White Sox rebuild 3.0, they need to be ready for the opportunity to turn Lewis Brinson into Christian Yelich when the opportunity presents itself. The last rebuild they just collected a bunch of highly rated prospects in one wave and hoped that they'd all hit. The all very much did not hit.
