Feel like everytime i see a highlight of him its for a bone head play or some fielding botch moreso than his actual talent. Very underwhelming start to his career given his hype
It boggles my mind how bad he is in the OF with how athletic he is. Most terrible OFers you can at least see them move and understand why they aren't good
He's fine in CF but he seems to be very uncomfortable in LF. Its going to be interesting what they do with Stanton coming back. Grisham and Rice both started out super hot but have come crashing back to earth the last month.
They say that but I tend to very much doubt he's the one person on earth that can play CF fine but can't play a passable corner OF. Plus, if the Yankees actually believed that themselves they'd just play him in CF and let Grisham play LF.
Obviously small sample size but when we've seen him in CF, routine plays look routine. In LF he looks like an 8 year old struggling to track an easy fly ball right at him. Maybes its just angles for him idk. Agree its odd.
Being a pirates fan must be so miserable. Held the Cubs to 9 runs over a 4-game series and still lost three games.
When I picked them to win the AL East this year, perhaps I was just aware that they can beat the Yankees’ ass
Was watching the As - Royals earlier. Royals were up 2-0 and Bobby “caught stealing” Witt Jr. was on first with one out. He then got picked off / caught stealing. Inning ended with a strikeout. Athletics won 3-2. Smh
That makes more sense. For his elite speed, Bob’s instincts/our base coaching are really pretty awful. He went way too early on a lefty before he moved toward home and the pick off was simple. Little league stuff
I would not have traded the guy with the 150 OPS+ signed through 2034, but that’s just me. Good for the giants
As a Yankees fan I'm all about this. Of course he homered in his last game against us as a Red Sox though. Dude seemed to always kill us.
