He should’ve just opted out midway thru the game like the ump in the cubs game yesterday. He’s already a brutal ump but the heat was pretty clearly affecting him
That seemed pretty dangerous from Sanchez. Blocking the plate and dropping a knee on a headfirst slide when he didnt even have the ball.
Seiya gets his second for the day to reach 20 on the year. He’s low key having an awesome year, just getting overshadowed by PCA and Tucker.
It was hit 111. It was definitely hard hit but this isn’t like Cruz or Ohtani reaching up to 118. Plus why would it leave that mark? lol
I had never heard of him, he’s the former president of the Miami Marlins and he seems like a total douche: He was also on Survivor, apparently:
The tweet is a little silly since they will all have to win a phase 2 vote, but it's cool to see that as of now he would be in that phase 2 voting. Also, I just went and voted for the first time and people are not good at voting the guys having the best seasons.
DH shouldn't be a position voted on. Ryan O'hearn is going to be an ASG starter smh. Just leave it as an open spot and let the manager pick the best hitter that's not a starter or something idk but this is dumb.
players who aren't all-star level get voted in every year. it's not unique to the DH position and also it doesn't really matter. if it was Ben Rice you'd be telling us how much of a feel-good story it is.
Most teams don't have full-time DH's that play 90%+ of the team's games at DH. That's why it shouldn't be a position voted on. Dumb comment on Rice. 1. he hasn't hit in like 6 weeks and 2. he's only played DH in 43 of 77 Yankees games. He's played 1/3 of his time at 1b and C.
O'Hearn playing 25 games at 1B and only 17 at DH is a bigger issue probably edit: old numbers 26 at DH. 51 at non-DH
It was. There's one Yankee I'll argue should be an All-Star this year. Bringing up a Yankee is just deflection, has nothing to do with that.
doing it your way and making it so no fans can vote for the most popular player in the world would be very smart.
Ohtani would very clearly be the DH. He can still make the team, DH just shouldn't be a position voted on all to itself when many teams don't even have a full-time one.
Cool. Make a "Who do you want to see hit?" slot and allow fans to vote for anyone they want, even if they voted them #1 at different position. Top vote getter that's not voted a starter in the field gets the spot. Might be the #2 1b, might be the #4 OF, might be a full-time DH. Just let anyone qualify for that slot.
My most hated player. Was the worst player in baseball for four years then as soon as KC cuts him he decides .850 OPS is easy peasy.
Oh I don’t actually care about him at all. I just thought it was funny that Ryan O’Hearn was sending dbl over the edge.
