Pretty sure their first date was at a whataburger. And it wasn’t a photo op at a restaurant, they actually paid to build one in the hotel their reception was at.

 

Or it’s what 90% of the organization has called him since he was drafted. 1 they already had a Whitt on the team when drafted and 2 they all knew his dad and his family’s called him junior his whole life. The only reason we call him that in this thread is because it instantly leads to a string of 10+ butthurt posts which is hilarious. The fans just simply call him Bobby or Bob.

When I was a kid I waited after a minor league game that frank thomas was playing in on a rehab assignment to ask him to sign a baseball. I asked if he would put “the big hurt” with his signature and he told me he didn’t like that nickname. Then I felt bad

 

saw canseco play for the knights at the end of his career and he just signed a ball “jose” and nothing else

 

I still get mad when people refer to that Chargers running back as LT.

 

Can't imagine having hundreds of millions of dollars at 24 and being tied down to one person

 

for Robert Garcia, a decent LH arm out of the pen. Seems like a decent move but our pen is going to be atrocious and I don’t think there’s a lot of help on the way.

 

Wondering what the market for Alonso ends up being at this point. Seems like most of the teams in the market for 1B help have decided to opt for cheaper options already. Feels like he's on track to do a Boras one year deal halfway through Spring Training special

Talked about it in the KC thread, both Mahomes and Witt have all that money and fame and they both married the only girl they’ve ever dated.

 

who cares as long as they're happy. it's probably comforting for rich & famous people to know that the person they are with loved them before they had any of that.

 

Good for him. That's probably twice as much as people were projecting before the playoffs.

 

That second TJ probably cost him about a quarter of a billion dollars but he still is a dog. Hoping he gets back to pre surgery form this year and gets his bag. Dodger legend after that post season and parade performance.

not to make it worse but I think he hit like .220 last year so not sure about the Arraez comp.
