I suspect he’s at or near the top of the list. I’d expect them to make one starter signing of significance and he fits the bill in a lot of ways. Might come down to seeing if he can get someone to go five years

if I ran a team I would pay a premium for pitching, hitting & bench coaches and then just worry about my manager having some charisma and being good facing the media and get along with the players enough that they don't hate him. pitching coach especially I feel like has the biggest margin for advantage. Strom was so key for the Dbacks.
i would pay a dickload for computer nerds and make sure that the people in the clubhouse could communicate what the nerds were doing.
