I agree with him, especially once you consider Muncy being a bad defender. But funny that Muncy now has a higher WAR, OPS+, WRC+, wOBA, xwOBA, and RBIs after his horrific start. “Let's call it the way it is. Manny Machado is a better third baseman than Max Muncy.” Padres broadcaster Mark Grant held nothing back as he campaigned for Machado’s All Star spot— Talkin’ Baseball (Bot) (@talkinbaseballbot.bsky.social) 2025-06-30T17:29:52.000Z
NEWS: ESPN and MLB have resumed talks after their contentious break-up earlier this year, The Athletic has learned. www.nytimes.com/athletic/646...— Andrew Marchand (@andrewmarchand.bsky.social) 2025-06-30T19:31:14.065Z
Yeah I understand that but sounding exactly like him is a bit of a different story but ty for the post
Please tell me it's SF broadcast on MLB Network.. Just turned on, it's commercial. Me watching this game depends on it
Orioles letting a guy score from 1st on a stolen base and 2 immediate errors, very impressive. Not sure I’ve seen that too many times

Looking at the box scores from last night, man Jac Caglianone has been having a real rough go. -0.8 war, .461 ops and he's 1 for his last 33.
Had no idea Passan was in his mid-40s, just never felt the need to check either, would've believed mid-30s
I seriously thought he was in his 50's because I have been reading him for a long time. When I first started Yahoo'ing he was writing there all the time and I was in my early 20s.
He was doing great to start but kept having some hard luck outs, approach stayed good. Now he’s pressing like crazy and the good contact has fallen off a cliff. Last night he put one about 10 rows deep but it was on the wrong side of the pole, it looked like someone ran over his puppy with how dejected he looked.
It's a shame how nice this stadium is and it's wasted on this organization/ownership There are dozens of us here
Clearly LAA is the superior organization somehow even more wild than LAD already using 16 different starters in just three months is the fact that LAA still hasn't missed a single start from its Opening Day rotation all year (no other team can say this, but ARI/TBR/WSH have each only used 6 SPs) a remarkable contrast for so many reasons— Céspedes Family BBQ (@cespedesbbq.bsky.social) 2025-07-01T23:09:28.424Z
Braves run differential is +8 but they have a worse record than the Marlins who have a -72 RD (second worst in NL) Rangers RD is +20 but they have a worse record than the Angels who have a RD of - 45 Tampa is +68 but has a worse record than the Blue Jays who have a RD of +4. Jays are 1 game back of Yankees who are +105
Trevor Williams just needed 54 pitches to get through the 1st inning against the Tigers. It's the most pitches thrown by anybody in MLB in a single inning this season.
Don't understand mlb replays sometimes. They just let stand a call of foul ball where on the replay you see the chalk flying up in the air when it hits. Its a 7-0 game so probably won't matter, but still baffling
And batter ended up walking and Riley Greene hit a hr to make it 10-0 so it really makes no difference.
