Weird. 3 of our 4 top WR are home grown, 2 of our 3 top RB are home grown. 4/5 starting OL are home grown. Top 2 TE, home grown. Yea, bringing in Ward has made Miami from a talented roster that is held back by its coach to a roster that can win despite its coach, but to act like UM and FSU are the same when it comes to portal reliance is as silly as the last time you made the argument especially as we have seen the season play out. Miami is a good team because of its offense and almost all of our key contributors on offense are guys miami recruited out of HS. Nevermind that most top teams are using a transfer at QB.
miami would not be favored in every single game if you didnt get cam ward and your top RB is a transfer, but nice try in framing it with your #2 and #3 RBs as "2 of top 3" ya this totally has nothing to do with cam ward and damien martinez leading the way as transfers as we have seen the season play out by using transfers* which again, you cant argue against winning 23 games in 2 years and the conference, which miami might finally have a chance at for the first time in 20 years due to a transfer
Damian Martinez has been our 3rd best RB in terms of production. Lyle and Fletcher have outplayed him. No argument on Ward. He's been a top 5 player in the country. Miami supplemented a good offense with him and it is paying dividends.
yup. He's getting the carries but hasn't provided the production. The calls for him to get less carries are out there. If Miami wasn't 5-0, there would be more complaints about him getting the bulk of the carries while Fletcher and Lyle have been better. Miami is a good CFB team. Are they one of the best teams in the country? no. The defense got exposed this week and will be the reason they will miss the playoff or be out in round 1-2.
man I want to not like the idea of players reclassifying bec the hit rate seems to be on the low side but Williams is making that argument seems meaningless.
LT Overton reclassified as well. It didn't work out for him as well as it has for RW. I’m not sure if it was A&M that screwed up his freshman year or if he really wasn't ready. Also DL is probably harder to come in early on than WR. He’s looked a lot better for us this year. also RW is just a freak.
when life puts you in a situation of having to decide to play for either marcus freeman or hugh freeze, get the more desperate one to pony up
When you think about it, Auburn is just a QB, offensive line, tight end, defensive line, edge rushers, inside backers, corners, safeties and place kicker away from being the 7th best team in the SEC
We're trying. Hopefully getting a corner here b/c Auburn pays dollars vs #Ohio State Buckeyes just paying in brotherhood bucks
Poor Ohio State with their #1 recruiting class, best freshman in the country, insane depth, best odds to win the title and Victoria Silvstedt playmate of the year
Our NIL sucked 2 years ago Our NIL is good now Please keep up with this brotherhood talk and acting like spending $20 mil is anything with the amount of money brought in.
which states allow kids to transfer high schools during the season and keep playing? It's allowed here in fla and it's pretty ridiculous
Our QB commit, Bekkem Kritza (hopefully not for long) was benched at Miami Central and then just transferred to Chaminade Madonna because their QB went down mid season. It’s outrageous. By the way, that kid is going to be at Colorado School of the Mines in like 2 years. He’s transferred schools like 6 times in his HS career.
I think that Jabari Brady kid ('26) left chaminade because of that very reason Leon Washington Jr did it last season up here in N.Fla been a few other kids rumored to be mulling it over shit is wild
