you guys would be fine if he wasn’t so set on bad qbs especially if the rumors are true about jackson arnold
I don’t think he ever plays a meaningful snap there. He seems the type to not understand he needs to develop and will end up at some lower level school because he didn’t play day one.
Now do #Ohio State Buckeyes 2021 recruiting class featuring with 6 of the top 11 players and 13 of the top 101 players. And how many B1G championships or wins vs UM they have? LOLOLOLOLOLOL
These two attorneys are the ones organizing the Texas NIL. They supposedly got all the olds out of the way and got their shit together. So everyone just get two forty something attorneys who care about football to give your football program $40 million and you’ll be in good shape. https://texaslonghorns.com/news/2024/7/26/a-texas-athletics-thank-you-for-a-historic-donation.aspx
yeah I knew they got the old asses out of the way because they went from an Aggie type situation with boosters to a seemingly smooth NIL
Kirby could obviously do better at QB, and it’s all relative considering they’ve recently won back to back titles and are the preeminent program, but their inability to ever load up on WRs has always been a bit of an eye opener to me, and it seems like it’s getting worse there and potentially at RB as well.
We just signed the best WR class we've ever signed, I think. RB is dogshit and has been for awhile now. QB's too, only to be getting worse under Bobo.
Beck isn't really the problem. He's basically the only one on our offense who can make plays. We lead the country in drops and have near zero running game.
Yeah they have been terrible a lot of the year. The Ole Miss game was probably their worst performance
They've been hurt all year. Even our backups. They barely practice. Having said that, it shouldn't be used as an excuse because everyone is banged up.
Andrew Olesh is signing somewhere in 90 minutes, hopefully. He's been committed to Michigan since the summer. He's visited a ton of places since. Yesterday Loy wrote on the Oregon board that Oregon was "surging". Now he's saying PSU is "surging" late. EJ Holland drove 4 hours or something to cover the event for UM's on3 site. Should be a fun time all around.
I mean we're up there but Texas and Oregon are differentiating, especially with high school kids. We lose a lot of battles that come to the end, see Sanders and Offord
Day just likes to outspend everyone for one position group and one position group only real weird fetish
They've spent a ton of $$ and resources at QB, RB, DL and DB. I'm assuming they have tried to do it at OL, too, but it just hasn't worked for whatever reason. I would assume at least half the $$ spent on this year's roster went to getting all those returners to come back for another year + Downs out of the portal.
no doubt but when it comes down to spending absolutely whatever it takes, like Texas just did, to make sure they sign a HS kid its funny they only ever do it for a 5* WR
Phil uses the tears of Indonesian children to fill the water jugs on the Oregon sideline. The saline helps with hydration and cramping.
Poor. but actually I Think we are “competitive” with him…we also have like 10 TEs on the roster and maybe he doesn’t want to be a part of 5 wide TE sets we will be running. His loss.
The rare 3 TE class. Olesh will be running the ball for us with 2 TEs lining up in line and 2 more out wide. Still searching for the TE that will also play QB for us.
Yes good point but I’m interested in future looking. Tyler Warren was once upon a time a VT QB commit, it just so happens there’s a PA kid in 2026 we are after that was also once a VT QB commit and we want as a TE. The prophecy will be fulfilled.
