cant get past the poor 3pt shooting at this stage for me but everything else is there so understandable to watch how fluid he moves at his size and roll the dice
What is the generally feeling about Egor Demin? What are the odds he's on the board at 12 for the Bulls. Seems like a lot of smoke out of Chicago he's the guy they really want.
I've seen mocks with him at 8 all they way down to 19... seems like he's got a large window. a tall PG who can't shoot seems like the type of player AK loves. This kid with Josh Gidley are going to be amazing basketball.
I think he’s the best passer in the draft but if he can’t shoot I don’t know how he goes lottery so congrats to our Orlando Magic fans
trading caruso for giddey then drafting russian giddey less than a calendar year later is the kind of dipshittery we should expect from the bulls
Yeah they would make lots of wonderful passing highlights, but stacking defensive turnstiles is not something that leads to winning basketball
If you're a Bulls fan and born after the year 2005 its a high probability you have no idea what winning basketball is and haven't seen a single meaningful minute of playoff basketball.
San Antonio getting aggressive and sending #2 and other stuff out to bring in Giannis is my biggest fear for next season
I saw Bill suggesting a three team trade where Giannis goes to New York and the Spurs are facilitators who end up with Bridges(I think) but I think if SA wanted to, they have the assets to deal directly with Milwaukee...but I'm not 100% on that
An elite passer would be a step up for the Amway Center for Players Who Can't Shoot Good and Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too
saw that kevin o'iftheycansayitwhycanti has jakucionis mocked to the wolves at #17 calling the league office to lock that in
Right now Nique Clifford and Carter Bryant are 2 guys being consistently mocked outside the lottery that have skill sets everyone seems to be looking for and I’d definitely take them over some of these center prospects that are hyper limited on one end or the other
Cedric Coward has been the fastest mover I can remember from prior drafts. Similar to Jalen Williams but he will end up higher. Really wanted him at 13 but that isn’t happening I really miss Thestepien.com’s prospect and draft coverage. No one has stepped up to their level of write-ups and projections.
You think Coward moves into the lottery? I thought he could be had at 22, but now I’m thinking you’d have to take him at 13. I don’t see him going much higher than that tbh. Though I still think from 3-14 is super flat
He could go anywhere after 8 maybe? He’s the archetype that every team wants and probably has a higher floor than most of the prospects in the lower lottery to late first.
Celemo you have any more clarity on what you want the team to do? i'm back-and-forth with a whole list of prospects around that range, including Coward Bryant Essengue Kasparas CMB Fleming and obviously some of the top guys that would have to fall
would prefer a defensive wing or a big (just in case we're able to off-load Grant/Ayton/Timelord) so I'm still kinda locked in on CMB Coward is intriguing but like MG2 stated earlier the guy played 6 games at Wazzu I'd be happy with Carter Bryant who brings the 3&D stuff I covet I'm infatuated with Maluach's potential but I think he'll be long gone by the time we pick and fuck it, Danny Wolf would be fun playing next to Turbo
The way some of these sites are ranking big guys is really confusing to me. Seems like people get caught up in who has more skills over how those skills actually fit on an NBA team. Queen is the best example of this to me. All of his best attributes only really work if he's a really high usage player and he maximizes it all, but where is he going to go where he'll be allowed to actually do that? Most teams ask their bigs to only do the things Queen is bad at.
Agree on him completely. Can very easily see him becoming a very productive player who does absolutely nothing to create winning basketball. Much harder for me to see him turn into a 16 game player.
I thought it was quite polite of j kyle to refer to queen as "deliberately paced" instead of slow and fat
His best case scenario would seem to be a center version (bigger but less athletic) of Julius Randle. And I can see the appeal of that in theory, but Randle has spent most of his career struggling to figure out how to fit his game into a team concept that works for someone besides himself. Queen's ideal scenario is probably as a guy who comes off the bench and gets to run offense through him against worse (less athletic) players.
It's crazy to me that Wolf is still being talked about as a lottery pick. He's a perfect example of the difference between watching a guy's YouTube highlight clip and watching a guy actually play a full game.
figured johnson was jumping up the ringer board when simmons mentioned him out of the blue on this weeks russillo episode
ESPN had a mock/discussion today with him at 2, as well https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...ting-30-round-1-picks-need-value-cooper-flagg Spoiler: hi
I understand my lack of self-awareness due to my long winded nature, but Vecenie needs to find an editor for everything he does. Cooper Flagg and Dylan Harper don't need 3+ page scouting reports, just like his podcasts don't need to all be 2-4 hours in length.
You're telling me you don't like a 150 minute mock draft pod every 6 weeks, all year round? With the Bryce Simon sandwich and bad movie report kicking it off every time?
That mock has OKC taking Murray-Boyles at 15 and I don't think the rest of the league should allow that to happen.
I'd be so into that. The Vecenie mock podcast for sickos yesterday had Portland trading 11 to OKC for 15 and 24, which is another thing I would be into
if the Hawks take Ygor and Danny Wolfe, you boys are going to see me on the news. I think both freaking STINK
I agree that they stink but I also think I would be able to talk myself into them very quickly if OKC took them.
