Leaving one of the best situations in CFB for, by far, the worst situation in the NFL doesn’t seem like a solid career choice. If Day (or any high-profile CFB coach) is going to jump to the NFL, it’s going to be for a job with some hope for success. New Orleans is a disaster and cap hell. The coach that takes the job is destined to fail. No one is leaving a perennial national title contender for that.

 

Saints should just run it back a full year with the toilet clogger as HC, take their lumps and start a real search with a top pick and more clarity for the future
