I don't really get why Cleveland wouldn't take Sanders with their next pick. What is there to lose at that point?
Useful players don't really matter when your QBs are Flacco, Pickett and Watson coming off an Achilles. If he's competent at all it's a massive steal and gives you a QB for cheap during the years Watson is destroying your cap. If he sucks, it's a 3rd round pick.
If the Browns or Raiders or anyone was gonna take Shedeur, it’d be kind of surprising that they didn’t just do it at the top of the 2nd. That’s the thing with whoever takes him at this point, Shedeur will have to know they didn’t even really want him that badly since they passed on him multiple times.
the only reason i could see them holding out is that it seems like they're clearing the deck for a QB in '26 and bringing in Sanders with his hype will create some unnecessary drama if they do secure the QB next year and need to bench SS. otherwise, it surely is the most logical move with their roster. and i'm not even a big sanders fan.
yep could have gotten a big ol bag from a smaller texas school and gotten a nice start on quinn ewers kia
