I have to say that I don’t even care about the NFL, and have not for many years, but this thread has been wildly entertaining
Falcons are a shameful franchise and should be taken out with a drone strike. Just level the whole fucking facility
I have it on good authority that Jace thinks it was "totally not cool" of Jax to potentially get their dad fired
Oregon: 19. S Dillon Thieneman 49. C Poncho Laloulu 51. RB Makhi Hughes 52. DE Matayo Uiagalelei 75. LT Isaiah World 94. LB Bryce Boettcher 113. TE Kenyon Sadiq 162. WR Evan Stewart 172. QB Dante Moore Sadiq is a freak, could end up the Mackey winner/1st rounder
I mean they went to the playoff and played fairly competitively against the eventual runner-up edit: actually the more I think about it they are way more mid than they should be
He shouldn’t be, in fact it’s completely unacceptable that the league would allow him to be employed moving forward
I think a company can fire a guy for leaving sensitive company information unsecured when it's then used to embarrass the company and parent company.
A work from home husband overheard his wife on a meeting and traded on information of a merger she was talking about pocketing millions, he ends up in jail and nothing happens to her besides divorcing him. Think we can all move on from a prank call, shitty but still just a prank.
The prank calls are a really shitty thing to do and I don't find them funny. It would be really funny, however, if the Falcons fired him and we could say that the NFL holds coaches to a higher standard with draft pick cell phone #s because of some prank calls than the United States does with the Secretary of Defense and classified military plans that could have gotten people killed.
That seems like an extreme reaction. I doubt he actually left an open iPad for his son to find. His kid probably knows what passcode his parents use. A lot of them do, or they’re smart enough to figure it out. It was fucked up thing to do, but it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s garbage kid and a piece of shit dad. The son needs to be punished and will obviously have a public stigma. But it seems like overkill to desire the dad to be severely punished too. It was iPad left out used for a prank call not a loaded gun left out used for a shooting. That said, they could very well be shitty people and deserve all the backlash. But without knowing that for sure, it seems like we shouldn’t always wish the worst on people for making mistakes.
That’s fair. But at almost 40, I look back and think my 21-year old self was kind of an idiot that did some dumb stuff.
Not really. If he’s employed there then someone already thinks highly of his abilities compared to the other talent pool… …and I’m sure most of his colleagues and superiors are equally shitty parents who also have a hard time controlling their dumb asshole kids and probably empathize with him more than we would lol
