Maybe as a backup on a team whose offense is predicated on the short passing game. Seems more like a practice squad guy for a year or two before he transitions into coaching.
Losing QB, RB, most OL, and some of our shitty pass catchers on offense. Losing 3 first round AA type guys on defense and some guys who've played well along the line who should be drafted as well, but we're reloading Spoiler all the way to the 2026 ReliaQuest Bowl
Our current two deep is extremely young. X Watts will be the biggest loss on defense. But we'll counter that by getting our two best pass rushers back who missed essentially the whole season. Leonard's the big one on offense as well as Evans at TE. A couple ho hum receivers. If they come back healthy and continue normal development, the OL should be strong.
Cowherd said today when talking about #Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback situation and whether they should pursue Aaron Rodgers. “The Steelers should trade TJ Watt, George Pickens, and two first-round picks to move up for Shedeur Sanders.”
https://www.si.com/nfl/steelers/new...a is based on,long-term answer for Pittsburgh. Gonna have to lower that bar buddy.
Not sure why you’d think someone would make that up. But if I was going to make up something, I’d at least make it not be so blatantly batshit.
The insanity of that proposal and then finding out that he actually suggested an additional first rounder with the same trade last year blew my mind.
I think this one is fine because there isn't enough weed in California to make me believe he's a starting qb
Buddy we got a lot of worries and receiver is still one of them. While edge rusher is unquestionably number one (followed by DBs), Pitts is ass and while Mooney and Ray-Ray had nice seasons, you always wonder if they’ll turn back into pumpkins. Also saw something like London created the least amount of separation of any wideout this season.
In all seriousness, my very accurate mock sims have lead me to taking Golden from Texas with one(of the many) picks I received from my draft day trades.
Kinda my point - we should be trading down with a vengeance - we're not one player away from anything.
Wouldn't mind Johnson to the Saints. The Chiefs getting to pair Nolen with Jones for a 31 pick would be some nonsense though.
He's spent 3 preseasons at CFL training camps and is working with QB Country, who recently trained Drake Maye and Bo Nix pre-draft Big, powerful QB who gets a shot in Mobile next week
Which Michigan man do we think will have the better career, Will Johnson or Mason Graham? They seem to be the two primary options for Jax at 5.
It would be Graham for me. Johnson is a bit overrated, IMO. He's really good in zone and has great ball skills, but he's been banged up a lot and I don't think he's the kind of elite man-to-man guy that you need to be to go top 5-10 at that position.
Graham, for sure. I like Will but he’s probably a little overrated due to the flashy plays he makes. Graham just produces play after play after play.
love Mel saying “he only had 1.5 sacks at Texas A&M but could be primed for a breakout in the pros.” Bc things gets notoriously easier on Sunday. that would be like teenage Bud Kilmer “he only bangs 2s and 3s late night at the bars in college but he could be primed to bag Suden Sweeney”
I bet you didn’t like the stress but you’re as happy as I am that he came back. There’d be one less earthquake in Columbia’s history if he hadn’t.
Penn State and Texas played 16 games too with only 8-9 days more rest, ol Jim Nagy didn’t think that through. Move it to mid-February
