That's what we thought when he was hired but he was so much better than Matt Luke. Last season was really hard to explain away returning so much experience.
I’m not on paysites so I don’t have insider info. I just see his name a lot visiting players and getting good quotes from highly ranked OL prospects. And he seems to be one of the ones on Tnet posters’ nice lists
Got it. He wasn't here long enough for me to know what he's truly capable of but Mims was leaving because of him. Multiple other OL didn't like him at all. I'm not really sure what the issue was but that was the word at the time.
There's still a lot of dog whistle racism especially in the NFL and shit like this seems to come out every year about the top black qbs in the draft. However, the QB known for flexing his $350k watch in opponent's faces on the field doesn't get a ton of sympathy from me for being called arrogant.
Brady, Favre, Marino, Rodgers, etc. all cocky/arrogant as fuck. Give me a confident/arrogant QB all day everyday. Just have to make sure they are also willing to put the work in.
I could see Deion being savvy enough to coach Shedeur to purposely tank interviews with certain teams.
My QB needs to hate vaccines or be willing to buy and sell them at 5x cost using a shell company founded by his church
his dad did same type of shit to any/every team without a top 5 pick kid knows where he's going draft coverage is so stupid
Fwiw, Brugler doesn’t think this will impact him much 10. Chicago Bears: Tyler Booker, G, Alabama The Bears will have their choice of several different prospects in the trenches here. Despite his below-average athletic testing, Booker had one of the combine’s cleanest positional workouts, and teams are trusting the tape that shows a Pro Bowl-level player. By the end of his rookie year in Chicago, Booker would be one of the leaders in the locker room.
No thank you at 10… I didn’t have him as a top 10 prospect going into the combine. He’s a 2nd round guy for me now post combine.
So I take it Charles Davis is just an insane person? https://www.nfl.com/news/charles-da...eur-sanders-cam-ward-and-jaxson-dart-go-1-2-3
Well at least we know Dart is headed to the Giants way ahead of where he's expected to be drafted because Eli worked out for them.
I approve of all three of those picks. Squeeze a couple more QBs into those top 9 while you’re at it.
I kinda can't believe Shedeur might still go Top 10. Yes QBs get bumped up but his ceiling seems so low, just not enough physical traits. Taking that guy over Carter or Hunter seems nuts.
I get you but the QB prospect needs to clear a threshold of quality. Shedeur seems much closer to Manziel as an NFL prospect than he does a traditional 1st round QB. Even Nix and Penix last year, those guys weren't perfect prospects but Penix ran a 4.4 and has a cannon and Nix is enormous and fast. Sanders is small, average arm at best, and with average mobility. Every analysis on him has some version of "can be good in the right system" in there. To be fair, the Bryce Young pick was only two years ago so maybe the NFL hasn't learned its lesson yet.
totally get what you're saying But we're 12 years removed from me watching EJ fuckin Manuel go 1st rd and in that time the teams have arguably gotten dumber regarding drafting QBs
Feel like all of this Shadeur shouting is a combination of 1. Stuffy NFL front office types not appreciating the player empowerment aspect 2. The Sanders camp shouting "the tape says enough!" 3. Level headed NFL front office types being like "wait a minute the tape isn't enough" The point made that has stuck with me (I think by Tice but not sure) is that Sanders going back to back with Shough at the combine may not go well for him. If I'm a QB needy team I would be tempted to target Shough and try to develop him.
The Sanders stuff is the most predictable draft storyline of all time. Some people were always going to criticize him for non-football things, and other people were going to go out of their way to point out any criticism of him for non-football things.
I thought we learned in the last couple of years that a lot of teams don’t care about that as much anymore
College production profile is much closer to Joey Bosa The closest athletic and college production profile to Parsons would be Jihaad Campbell. Only Edge prospects in the last 10 years have put of these production numbers... Parsons and Jihaad Missed tackle rate < 7% Havoc rate > 10% Pass rush win rate > 13% 80+ tackles/season
% of plays with one of: INT, PD, TFL, Forced Fumble, QB hurry, QB hit, or sack according to my googling. Bankz’s definition above didn’t include the QB hurries or hits so idk if that varies based on source
