Terrible, kid had all the talent in the world. Also it wouldn't have been a death sentence to turn himself in and supposedly he was still in communication with the agent.
Released on a low bond and given access to a gun and car while going through a legal and emotional/mental crisis.
Obviously I loved it but I'm biased as hell. Lane did the Theo Von podcast while he was in town doing an Oxford show - I'm sure there are a bunch of reasons why he shouldn't have gone on the platform but I thought it was great. There's a yoga discussion at the start that I would advise to skip but most of the rest of it is SEC/Lane stuff. The "Jimbo Fisher removed from chat" discussion at 22:20 was pretty funny.
Wishing for suicide, no matter how much you hate a person, is super lame. You should be ashamed of yourself.
The Milkman is not stanning for Vonn he just hates wishing suicide on people and has a very good reason to.
We're returning a combined 40% from offense and defense and losing our kicker, punter, and return person. UK and Arkansas are tied for 2nd worst with 78% so almost double our percentage of returning production. We are signing about 53 players though so wtf knows how we'll be this year.
Vandy has had a few defections, but good on them for not losing much to the portal. We'll see how life is post Pavia, but Lea is doing really good job imo
We’re returning good production and the ones we lost our backups are better or we upgraded in the portal. RTR
Lea is going to have some work cut out for him in the next year to find Pavia's replacement. But, hopefully Jerry Kill sticks around to help out. If they keep having success on the field, they should be able to capitalize on Nashville's growth and the wealthy alumni base through the NIL.
I don't think LSU has the line depth (defensively) for a deep playoff run. I've tried to bring this up in conversation with friends, and they wave it away as nonsense. As far as LB goes, will Harold Perkins finally fulfill his process? Your guess is as good as mine. The secondary should be the best since 2022's squad. Gotta hope that injuries don't hit at the wrong time.
Offense: I've never been completely sold on Garrett Nussmeier. He reminds me of Lando Norris in F1. When things go bad, he fully emotes and doesn't know how to pull himself out of that mental block. I'll be curious to see how this offensive line comes together. The fanbase isn't the biggest fan of DJ Chester. I'm also curious about who fills the role that Mason Taylor has left behind. Aaron Anderson feels like he can do everything sideline to sideline. But LSU desperately needs that vertical deep threat to come on early with games @ Clemson UF (home) and @ Ole Miss within the first five weeks of the season.
I like Baker a lot (I hope he gets the Tulane job when Sumrall lands an SEC or P4 gig). I do wonder from a technical point how much losing Bo Davis will hurt this defensive line unit.
You're most likely right. But, the shred of hope I have is that he was raised in Nashville, grew up going to Vandy games as a kid, and played at Vandy. So, maybe he is willing to stick around when others would leave. Hopefully we have a good enough year where that is a conversation.
I know Vandy is at the lower end of the Big 2, but also kind of hard to see another school poach him from that level. Idk if he'd leave for a B12 or ACC school. Seems like a decent scenario to keep him around.
