Also Jireh is awesome. Happy with Jett but Jireh is almost as good. Nice to see Bama staying relevant
They’ve had a tough run of it. From winning 6 nattys under Saban to having to defend KDB giving Bama their worst season since 2007 despite having the most talented team in the country and having a better record than just 7/16 SEC teams.
I’m super high so forgive me but this post is confusing me. Your tone/language makes it seem like you don’t agree with the poster you’re quoting, but all the stats you include in your post seem to agree with their observation.
Your first assessment is right, I don’t believe he’s a (future) Olympic caliber sprinter. He’s fast, and elite football fast, but not olympic fast. Obviously development isn’t linear but from what we know right now. I’d consider “Olympic caliber” as top 6 in the country at their peak since the 4x100M team is 4 runners and 2 subs. It’d be really tough to be top 6 in the country across all ages when you are the ~8th best in your own age group.
Do people often tell you that you’re an utterly ridiculous human being or do you only show this side of yourself to your internet friends?
gotta think that buford, gainesville, and carrollton kids are tough negotiators too since they've already been the subject of bidding wars
they are still going after him Edit- they were not really early on but they are after him now. He visited a few weeks ago
track fans are assholes when it comes to the difference between track fast and sport specific fast source Im one of those people
You guys are in a great spot, a roster filled with talent and a coach that has shown to get the most out of talent. I think you’re overreading those posts. It was a couple random games. Saban lost of UL Monroe early on, it happens.
He verballed to Missouri for baseball when he was a freshman, then opened things back up for both sports. He was Ohio player of the year in both baseball and football as a junior.
