While getting 21 points in the Maryland game is nice, I am staying away from that game due to the fact that Maryland has to travel all the way across country, and Cal should be ready for this game. I Could see this one going either way. Best should dominate.
I'll be on Notre Dame and Oregon. Something is telling me take Miami but I really don't know too much about what each team lost ETC. Someone educate me about that game.
FSU ran for 300+ on the ground last year, at Miami. That was with the youngest OL in the nation. They are much better and much stronger this year, throw in that Miami is missing two starting DE's for the game, and you could see about the same results. FSU's passing game should be improved as well with the improvement of the OL. The downside, is that FSU has NO IDEA what Miami is going to be doing as they introduce two new coordinators. Miami has nothing to lose, they will be playing loose because of their opening four games being so tough. I just think we are simply more than a touchdown better all things considered, so I took the bet. I've NEVER bet on FSU and I have never been confident about a win against Miami like I am right now.
I layed huge money on Maryland last year when Cal traveled to Maryland and played a 12:00pm game (9am Cali time) and it paid. I like Cal to cover this year.

I'm 1-2 but am +.5 units thanks to my Notre Dame bet. Hopefully I can sweep my Bama winning and under 38 and I would be up 3.5. Then if Maryland can just stay within 20, I'll be +4.5 going in to a 3 unit bet for Miami v. FSU Monday night. Opening weekend, I would take 5-2 +7.5 units.
