Given how they’ve communicated this thing, I’d say they had a suspect and are just making sure they case is watertight with all the DNA results. Early suggestions of a crime of passion and then the claims it was targeted/not targeted. The investigators clearly tried to shut everyone up but it’s tough. In the last few days we’ve had the prosecutor say they would feel safe having their kids on campus knowing what they know and this interview with the parents seems to confirm someone was targeted. It has to be the food truck guy surely. His behaviour is bizarre and their interactions are all so strange.
Hope law enforcement check for old creepy vans abandoned at the murder scene on the night of the crime. I've heard of them missing this sort of thing in past cases.
This reminds me of that time I was sitting around in Dallas with a sniper rifle when the president drove by. Nothing happened.
Hoody guy (JS) is seen in the twitch video at the food truck. LE says he's been cleared, but some online detectives think he's suspicious.
I’ve read that post 3 times and literally have no idea what is trying to be communicated. I trust y’all tho. Get this guy some help!
So, I think: At the time of JBR's murder, Mr. Haviland was driving and his car struck a curb "by Jones," resulting in a flat tire whilst on the way to church, specifically a church his roommate's mother wanted to attend. He then parked his car in front of JBR's house for like a week, but was never contacted by authorities. GBR
Yeah I read it as “don’t expect much from these local perry masons cause I had car trouble during that one famous incident and nobody noticed my random whip parked nearby for a week.”
From reddit, via Brian Entin's special report -Kaylee’s injuries were “significantly more brutal” -Kaylee and Maddie were on the third floor -Entin asks: why would a killer go on the third floor when there is no easy exit unless he was targeting someone on the third floor? It’s a lot to risk -Not a fetish killing-no writing on walls, etc., according to county prosecutor -Maddie worked at Mad Greek and did marketing for the restaurant -The girls were found in Maddie’s bedroom, third floor, Bedroom E on map (the room without the slider deck access) -Xana’s mom thinks the target was not the home but rather the people -Maddie and Kaylee look a lot alike, so if the killer was targeting Kaylee, how would he have known in the dark, in the wrong bedroom, which girl was which if they didn’t know them? -Idaho crime lab has already processed SOME, not all, of the evidence -According to police, there has been NO evidence found of a stalker for Kaylee (according to her father)
yeah I think we all figured that out, the confusing part is randomly drunkenly going online at 2am on a Saturday night to put yourself at the scene of an unsolved murder when no one paid any attention to him for 25 years
Yeah because the stalker wasn’t leaving weird notes or being noticed like in the movies. I’ve cracked this case and the killer has to be someone who was there in that town that went into that house and killed those innocent victims! I’m telling you.
Flick ahead to 6:10 to avoid the needless chat. It goes on for a bit but you kind of have to watch it to see how strange it is. - two of them that were murdered arrive together with some guy (“hoodie guy”) - he keeps back, moving with them as they order food and they go to the collection area -he ultimately strikes up a conversation with a bigger fella there (who told the media later that he thought the Hoodie Guy was nice). He tells the bigger guy that he is friends with the girls and making sure they get home safe - what is really strange is that the three don’t interact for the 10+ minutes at the truck beyond one moment where one of the girl points at him and tells him to “fuck off” and something about “weird” - girls then get their food and scamper, not saying goodbye to the guy - he goes off alone, seems a bit put out that they left without saying goodbye Within a couple of days the police “cleared” him but people are saying there’s not really much value to that. Some of the Reddit rumours add to it; - his Alibi was that he drove to his parents cabin five hours away straight after - he lived right beside them - social media of him with knives/ hunting There’s some other ones, but they seem quite loose. Regardless of the rumours, he would appear to me to be awfully unlucky that his creepy interaction there ended up with two girls murdered an hour later. If he was unlucky, shit one for him as he has been branded now by the online crazies.
Only thing I was really able to gather from that was 1.) that food truck is way expensive and 2.) its also slow as fuck
Been saying that hoodie wearing piece of shit killed them. Broke in, killed the couple in the first room looking for the 2 girls. Went up to the 3rd floor and took the targets out.
You’re paying extra at any food truck. Usually at least $15 per meal as a food truck fatty, I usually spend $30+ just for me
We have food truck courts all over my area, and every bbq plate, taco plate, burrito, hibachi, etc are all like 14.99 or a couple dollars more
People think a random interaction at a food truck drove this guy to murder four people because he might have had his feelings hurt and hunts? If he’s been cleared I’m assuming cell data was used to verify his alibi. Unless he had an accomplice for his spur of the moment quadruple murder driving his phone out to the cabin, dropping it off and circling back to pick him up. Edit: Should clarify. Not saying he’s “not guilty” just seems a bit of an extreme overreaction to having your feelings hurt at the food truck. Any other known interactions between victims and hoodie guy or is it based solely off this video?
I, too, am a man of large appetite and bertwing has got the right of it here. I'm gonna need 2 of those $14 Korean BBQ grilled cheeses and will bird dog the shit out of my daughter's.
So hoodie dude is probably fucked. https://www.yourtango.com/crime/who-jack-showalter-idaho-food-truck
I’m going to guess that a college in Idaho doesn’t have a great variety in food trucks. They can charge whatever they want. Drunk Arsenal would pay a pretty penny if it’s worth it
so I guess I was under the impression they were ordering less food than they were. Unless they were adding processing feeds onto it this menu doesn't seem outrageous https://www.thegrubtruck.com/
He’s not a person of interest “at this time”. I don’t think it is a random interaction. He said he was with them to a third party, he creeped around. The three barely interacted except for one of them saying “fuck you” to him. They then walked off without him. It wasn’t a split second of body language or a random encounter that people are reading too much into as happens with true crime. Allegedly he lives right beside them so I’m not sure how cell data would necessarily clear him though it is rumoured that the alibi is that he drove to his parents cabin. Driving five hours at night after being out doesn’t seem sus at all! I’m sure cell data takes a while to pull but highway cameras would surely pick it up and be used for evidence sooner. One of the families seems to be think it’s was him anyway. But again, he could just be the unluckiest person in the world to have his moment of creepiness on show to the world before a quadruple homicide.
Would be kind of crazy if the Jon benet Ramsey murderer was on this board and was a huge Cedric Mullins and PT Cruiser fan
