Apparently Trump's lawyers are trying to stop 60 minutes from airing their Stormy Daniels interview tonight so they try to tangle it up in court. Haven't heard if 60 minutes is going to air it or not but they definitely should.
think it was always slated to be next week but the release that they're trying to get it blocked from being aired is having lots of people jump to conclusions that it was supposed to be tonight
They should melt down those Confederate statues and use them as bullets for convicted white supremacists
i have zero idea what people expected, she'd told that story before outside of being threatened his lawyer is the most at risk, Trumpers have already ignored worse things than cheating on your wife with a newborn
I just can't bring myself to be outraged by this whole ordeal that happened between two consenting adults 12 years ago. There is no crime. And of-course she plays the "he threatened my family" trope that can't be proven. The only thing I'm slightly upset about is Trump's shitty taste in circa 2006 female pornstars.
I think it being underwhelming speaks for itself. This is the biggest interview on the planet during every other presidency in our lifetime, it might not be a top 5 scandal in the Trump era.
I remember when using campaign funds to pay off a mistress would get you indicted. That law must only apply to Democrats tho
I've flown allegiant twice now. Once to Vegas and once to Orlando. I think I'll skip them going forward
Recording this now. My coworkers daughter is a fight attendant for them and she loves it, but I’m sure if any other airline made her an offer she’d jump.
Allegiant airlines is incredibly unsafe, the faa has done nothing, allegiant actively suppresses negative information, probably fired a pilot for correctly making an emergency landing and no one in the know would even think of ever flying allegiant.
I’ve flown allegiant once because they were the only option under $750 to go to a wedding. Besides the nickel and diming I didn’t think it was that bad. Don’t plan on flying with them again unless it’s a situation like that, though. Walmart of the skies
Out of curiosity, because of the 60 Mins piece....please look up your itinerary and reply with what type of airplane you're flying on tomorrow
I work for a Silicon Valley based tech company that practices and "believes" everything that is typical for Silicon Valley tech companies including everything that Salesforce mentioned in the last 60 Mins piece. Everything except "Equal Pay" My annual review which includes a compensation review is in a week. Guess I won't be requesting a raise this year and will just ask for more stock option rights instead. FUCK YOU 60 MINUTES
I'll say I never actually had an issue the two times I flew, but it seems like one of the reasons they are able to offer such cheap flights is bc they cut corners maintaining their planes. Wonder how someone like spirit compares. And of course that July they mentioned tonight where there 11 issues out of Vegas was when I was flying from Vegas. Crazy!
Spirit was one of the five companies they mentioned when they said allegiant reported 3.5x as many mechanical failures mid-air. United, jet blue, and Delta are theee others they mentioned but i don’t recall the fifth.
This post made me watch that segment. I’ve reached a decibel level that forced my wife to roll her eyes and put in her headphones.
The whole equal pay thing is interesting to me. I have several concerns about it but I'm just a white guy so I'll keep my yapper shut.
Same and same. The issue with every form of bias is you’re susceptible even if you’re aware they exist.
Spent 3 mil to fix it. Then after aquiring comapneis another 3 mil to fix their carryover issues. I can’t tell if he believes what he says or if he’s cashing in on the free publicity of accusing basically every other company of pay disparity.
Unrelated to the above posts, i work for a “rank stacking” company they ranks every single employ multiple times per year. This isn’t a company where you ask for a raise or a better raise and get it unless you’ve got your resignation in hand. More often than not you give them your two week notice and maybe you get 3% for your annual raise instead of 2%. What I fail to see is how year over year, with many women in positions of power, how the error continues to repeat itself with so many companies. And when i say fail to see, I mean, I’m sure the data is there I’ve just never seen compelling proof.
Their shitty app doesnt even say what type of plane it's going to be. I'll update when I get to the airport. Flight 483
