Tremonti can play.
My best friends had a band that made it to #1 on rock radio countdowns in my part of the country.
song brings back tons of nostalgia
Don't mind me just going down a one hit wonder rabbit hole right
pnk$krtcrÿnästÿ loves Nirvana more than anybody, and thinks Kurt Cobain was a musical genius
It slapped hard. Might be the nostalgia talking but Creed gets more shit than they probably deserve. There were plenty of worse bands out there
Didn't help Scott Stapp was a fuck
I frickin loved grunge back in the day and added a few 90's classics to my Apple Music that I love popping up randomly
This is one that I didn't remember loving in the 90s but delights me these days
Another 90s dude who gets shit on way more than he deserves is Pauly Shore. His movies are great and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.
¡VIVA LOS BIODOME!
I enjoyed your son in law anecdotes
AptosDuck banged him in 94 iirc
In the Army Now
Son in law
No one has ever put together a run like that
Don't forget Bio-Dome
I nearly kicked his head on the morning of the first day of principal photography on Encino Man
Did they really find Brendan Fraser in a block of ice y/n
I definitely had that album at the time and remember turning friends on to it, too. Connection was the most recognizable song on that album, and was also on The Hackers soundtrack (which was great, btw), but they have a lot of other great tracks on there as well. You can hear some punk influence in the bass. Also, their lead singer was the best female vocalist of the 90s imo. She was married to the lead singer of Blur for awhile.
Two awesome albums that were overshadowed by hit singles
Quoted for my attorney in case you try to edit in advance of your libel summons
Oasis sucks so I am going with Weezer. Do like the thread though so will continue to post in it.
Tyler is one of my all time favorite songs
I used to fall asleep to What's the Story Morning Glory
Ratt cut Detonator in 90 can I poast here?
Could also discuss pearcy's side project Arcade if 90's cutting it too close to the edge
Hate the Gallagher brothers. I always change Lithium whenever they have a song that comes on.
Feels like this thread is about to shift to just shitting on bands people just said they liked.
Then I get to join the "everyone shit on Oasis and laugh at Pelinis" party without fear of rattribution
Oasis is horrible (sucks)
AC/DC sucks a giant dong and was at minimum partially responsible for the worst of rock evolution
I’ve said some things but I’ve tried to remain cordial. I want everyone to have a good time
No, Primus sucks.
Speaking of 90s albums…
“Grab yourself a can of pork soda
You'll be feeling just fine
Ain't nothin' quite like sittin' 'round the house
Swillin' down them cans of swine”
Also, Frizzle Fry if we’re going by release date
You mean Primus *also* sucks.
Jesus the shit that decade did to jam bands is unforgivable
Right over your head
Little known secret Allman Brothers Band's two best albums are in the 90s.
I think I don't know how to talk about 90s music
Wait, you consider Primus a jam band?
Tesla did Psychotic Supper in 1992 so yes
has anybody mentioned Jane's Addiction yet
They’ve embraced the scene after Claypool’s solo stint and do some improv live…but they most certainly were not a jamband in the 90s
Edison’s Medicine rules.
Oasis was great and the Gallagher brothers being giant shitheads who absolutely hate each other is funny.
i will like any post(s) praising Bio-Dome or Son In Law
Worst song on the album and it’s not particularly close imo
