SMU's stats last year say otherwise
Saying Lashlee sucks is a pretty bad take on the first game in an empty stadium. Play calling is going to evolve. Enos first few drives looked pretty good and we know how that went. Playbook is still being opened IMO.
I am shocked that we kicked that fumble oob
DJ Ivey is a potato
It's amazing how Baker never learned anything from the UNC game with stupid blitzes and not relying on your athletic and attacking front 4 on 3rd and longs
King doesn’t make the best decisions on the RPO imo. Feels like he makes the decision before the snap.
He's been making some bad reads on that read option all night... NOW that could be rust because lets remember he didn't play last season. Or it could just be he makes bad reads. We shall see as the season goes on.
His passing is pretty woof and then pretty good. Interested in seeing Kosi
The good thing is that this team has 3 very good running backs and a QB who can run as well. Get some better decisions on the RPO and we won’t have to worry too much about throwing the ball in most games.
Naw. Get him as many reps as possible. Too much time off to pull him early.
I'm appalled anyone would even ask for Perry at this point
I meant interested in seeing Kosi in hopeful garbage time
Baker has no idea how to coach pass D. None at all
Our DB's suck
Fucking hate touchdown rings
That would require us actually getting into garbage time.
Feed Brevin fucking Jordan man
Some downfield passing
It's amazing what happens when you shake up your play calling.... I'm still waiting on a fucking screen
Slant pass would be cool right here
Did that fucker just hurt our kicker?
Pretty sure Borregales is hurt bad
Roche is p good
Really tired of the nepotism on D. McCloud and Carter have no business playing as much as they are
How’s that not a penalty on UAB with the shove out of bounds?
How in the world is the only holding call in this entire game going to be AGAINST us?
Welp, Cam is done
Why are you surprised?
Lol a flee flicker with a guy getting tackled right in front of the passer
If this is targeting burn it down
Passing defense has me nervous for Louisville
That is some seriously vanilla ass playcalls
And three inside zone runs is stupid
Cam is fine I think guys
King isn’t good at the read on these rpos so far. He could have kept that last one for a huge gain
How the fuck is a five foot tall walk on the two deep?
He's not but he somehow sees the field because Baker
Dear fucking God Baker and the db blitzes from fucking bfe
How the hell did Travis Etienne return? Still blows my mind.
It's coming again...
Pretty solid showing considering:
- the offense totally took the foot off the gas after the 3rd
-the defense would’ve only given up 3 pts minus Popes dumbassery and a bullshit offsides call
500 yards of offense is a huge W with all things considered.
nervous for Louisville next week. Secondary was getting exposed.
Weird game. Pretty boring overall, but the flashes by King were awesome. Defense looked pedestrian. Receivers and O Line are a big concern. That said, 31 points + 500 total yards of offense not bad for a first game in a new system, in a weird year. Gonna need to bring it next week.
Was disappointed in the passing game, and frustrated with the constant attempts at running up the middle which went for minimal gain almost every time.
King was fun to watch as a runner, though, along with the freshman running backs.
Thought Knighton looked really good last night which stung.
King either consistently fucked up on his reads or they told him explicitly not to pull the ball. Also reserving judgement on the passing game. We seemed extremely intentional about running the ball and King was effective throwing the ball in spurts, so i'll see how we come out against Louisville before I draw any conclusions.
