What an incredibly bad decision by Dabo.... Can the offense please take advantage of Clemson's aggression on the front 7. A middle screen could fucking break them I'm still not sold on Lashlee. I just don't understand the inability to see a clear advantage against a defense and not even try and take advantage of it. I think the last OC Miami had do that was Fisch.
Sticking with the power run game when your oline is getting completely pushed around is a real bold strategy Lash
Why use those guy when you can throw lobs to Wiggins and Pope and just watch them keep running regardless of where the ball is
The lack of offense is way more concerning, we knew this D had 4-5 guys in the starting lineup that aren’t Miami caliber
I mean were at a stage in the game where I ask wtf is Miami caliber anymore, seems like we're having this same conversation every god damn year.
Need our young linebackers to learn the defense faster Old guys are going to kill our defense moving forward
If you think this coaching staff is closer to clemson's coaching staff than the roster is closer to clemson's roster you're completely insane. Miami even in down years put asses in the NFL. Most NFL teams wouldn't even let these assholes coach the kickers.
Then you're delusional because no one in this thread thought that. So maybe you're the one who overrates a team that lost to FIU last year.
Gotcha, yeah I was delusional. Thought you guys would show up better but Clemson is also better than I thought i like miami, not sure what to make of Diaz.
Further away, mainly because of Manny and this coaching staff. King can make up for a lot of ineptness but that shit goes out the window against actual top 10 caliber teams.
that doesn’t make any sense, I asked about talent versus coaching and you answered by saying that the talent isn’t good enough mainly because of coaching. but i think I understand your point. You guys are not close because of coaching and the talent is not showing up because of coaching.
Miami isn't at Clemson's talent level, but I honestly think it's close enough that a proper coach could help mend that gap. I mean for Christ sakes they showed up unprepared, undisciplined and didn't even look like they had a game plan and still managed to hold Clemson to 21 at half. A lesser roster is down 40 with that shit.
Solid game. Coaching cost you tonight. I think talent still isnt there. Phillips,Bolden, and Jordan are pros. Nesta too. If Manny can recruit it will mask his terrible coaching. Probably see yall in Charlotte still
no chance of winning anything meaningful if coaching is not A or better Although lsu proved that wrong last year, but the oc was good
Miami has given up the most plays of over 10 yards in the country. why is third and Blake baker so difficult? We did a good job containing them on 1st and second down for the most part. Frustrating.
They went like 1 of 9 on 3rd and long (9+ yards) Third and short we were swiss cheese because our linebackers are trash and they have the most versatile rb in the country I def don’t love Baker and his terrible blitz packages, but the offense shafted him last night
I fucking can't stand the seniority bias this staff has, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Patchan over Rousseau last season should have been a fireable offense and guys like McCloud and Jennings should have no business getting the amount of reps they do. Our safeties and DL are decent enough where you can take your lumps at LB with guys like Brooks, Huff, TAC, Flagg, etc. Same can be said at WR.
