Idk why he was trying to make a big deal out of this decision tbh, easily our most competitive position on offense I know he’s got a kid, but probably needed to find another Florida school that he could get workhorse level carries next year....and boost his draft stock
Don't think he was ever coming and really wish we had a staff that put an end to kids putting our hat on the table just to stir up suspense
That is the rumor. He has some guys in his ears pushing him to an adidas school apparently and he was posting from Miami. Guess we will see
Not something to be overly excited about, but I guess a play-now body to go into the DE rotation We need a WR#1 and a CB#1, and really a LB or two Crazy how we don’t have enough spots to fill all the huge holes on this team
Manny not getting rid of Baker in what would literally be the easiest possible situation to do so.....such bullshit Your safeties coach is taking a DC job Your DL coach needs a change for health reasons Your CB coach is ass and needed the pink slip years ago Your guys responsible for coaching linebackers (DC and Patke) are obviously terrible at coaching the position
Smart decision. First half of the year I thought he was gone since he was playing so well, but he slowed down the second half and played like ass. Missed tackles and bag angles probably didn’t help his draft stock.
i'll always have love for rumph for what he did as a player, but this change should've been made years ago. i don't know if there's any truth to the rumors that he didn't have much input when it came to recruiting targets, but it doesn't really matter. the results were trash.
manny/baker is gonna be golden/onofrio 2.0, huh? cool. his stubbornness will have him out of a job this time next year.
Looking forward to another year of: 1- our best pass rusher dropping into coverage on third downs 2- safety blitzes from 20 yards deep 3- trash veterans starting over actual talent I’m sure there is more but can’t think of any. Manny literally had the perfect opportunity to really be a CEO head coach and blew it for his buddy
Do you really expect an ACC DC to be demoted and stay on? Even so, that would mean they’re bringing in someone not qualified enough to be a full DC themselves...and that doesn’t help much.
Good luck to him. Think he slips quite a bit due to all his injury issues. Hope he can stay healthy in the league.
Yeah can’t blame him His negatives going into the draft are size and injury history, and another year is more likely to just get him hurt again
I’m sure. But he was money on the crootin trail. Can have all the off field guys you want. That’s the Bama not so hidden secret. Have an infinite analyst staff that has connections all over the country so no matter where the talent is, you have an in. Oh and dodge chargers.
