Color me not bullish on Joe Brady. He's literally had one good season as an OC (granted a historic one) and that was with a ready-made roster of future 1st rounders that he didn't recruit. Cribby is also insinuating that he's asking for a lot of control of the offense and will command a lot of money. Not saying it isn't a splashy or sexy hire but wouldn't be upset if we went in another direction
I share some concern but will say that "ready made" roster was not very good at offense the year before he got there nor was the offense that great after he left.
freaking Fran and Jake got me all excited about the possibility of Shumann as the DC that I haven't even thought about anyone else. I guess I need to look into Belk
Lol really because kids got $500 while other schools giving kids $50k to $1M. Rad better tell them eat a dick and don’t even cooperate with them.
Mario Cristobal is already big-time moves on the recruiting trail. His first official visit weekend began on Friday and InsideTheU learned that Bradenton IMG Academy Top247 tight end Jaleel Skinner, an Alabama commit, is a part of the group spending the weekend in South Florida. The nation's No. 4 tight end took previously took an official visit to Miami over the summer, but a return trip is allowed based on an NCAA rule that allows schools to bring guys back following a head coaching change. The 6-foot-5, 210-pounder, who previously committed to the Crimson Tide over Miami, Texas, Florida, and Clemson, arrived in Miami late Friday night with his family. Skinner coming down to UM is a major development in this recruitment. The lanky pass-catcher has made it known on his social media accounts in the past that Miami finished second behind the Tide, and with Nick Saban holding commitments from two other players at the position in Lakewood (Fla.) Top247 athlete Amari Niblack, who is expected to play tight end, and Dayton (Ohio) Wayne four-star Elijah Brown. It's currently unclear what this visit means in terms of his commitment to Alabama, but Saban typically does not like his players taking other visits while verbally committed. Skinner is expected to sign on Wednesday during the first day of the Early Signing Period and enroll in January. 247Sports' Andrew Ivins compares the senior to Los Angeles Chargers tight end Jared Cook.
so Mirabal McLendon TRob and the S&C coach Feld are the new staff that are hired/done according to Cribby
I guess but he was down here today and all the Oregon peeps that have been down here so far have ended up on staff
Rumor on our board is it's going to come down to AU and Miami for Oregon's DT transfer Jayson Jones. I'd imagine DJ James will be the same.
why is it that whenever the Ruiz's talk it always turns into a infomercial for one of their businesses
So weird how the guy who killed it recruiting at Bama/Oregon shows up and in a week recruiting is fun again
@CanesAccess: UPDATE: Oregon WR Coach and Passing Game Coordinator Bryan McClendon will be joining Mario Cristobal's staff at Miami after serving as Oregon's interim HC for the Ducks' Alamo Bowl game against Oklahoma. https://t.co/wfetTFNdN0
