it can be both at times dufus coaches fault our two LBs can’t wrap up a RB 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage on a called run blitz to prevent a TD or is it more likely Flagg and Smith aren’t competent ACC level linebackers?
But you’ve chastised me for blaming coaches and have literally on this page solely blamed the players. You’re not consistent at all and your push back stinks of someone who just wants to be contrarian because your personal feelings towards me as a poster. Makes no damn sense suddenly it can be both but literally five minutes ago it was the players? Just dumb shit either I’m halfway right or full wrong you can’t have it both ways bitch
Not sure how you can’t blame coaching when the main difference between last year and this year is coaching
2 8 and 23 all still can’t cover anyone with any speed UNC dragged their nuts all over us the first half of the game last yr too if anything this has been closer so far lol
Call me crazy, but I don't see how these two statements can't both be true: 1) The talent level on this team is nowhere near what it should be. Especially at the skill positions, where it should be easy to stumble and find a quality WR in South Florida. If you want to put the majority of the blame on that on the Diaz staff, that's fair, since most of the players here were brought in by that staff. 2) The dearth of talent does not explain getting manhandled by MTSU like they did. Even if the talent is considerably below average, there is still more talent on this roster than there is on a team that is getting blown the hell out by UAB today. That this game happened is way more on the coaching staff to me.
Idk how you assume we should score our first and goal but not them, but anyways I just mean based on the eye test
It would be fine if he made that argument from the beginning but his entire argument against me from jump is that this was all solely on the players. That’s why I’m backing his dumbass into a corner on this Like I said before either I’m partially right or full wrong. I’ll listen to the former argument but I have zero interest in the latter
agree with all of this except I can see how 2 happens when you turn the ball over 4 times I’ve seen enough from the offense to realize it’s a combo of crap RZ calls and bad OL/WR play BUT no scheme or DC can help these duds in the secondary cover anyone against WRs with speed and accurate QB. Every time UNC hands it off we should write Mack a thank you note
When your best players over recent years have been transfers (King, Rambo, Osborn, Stevenson, J Phillips, Gerald Willis, Roche, etc.) you have foundational issues.
Weird, a kid who might go in the first round at WR and Bama tried to throw a giant bag this offseason made an awesome play out of nothing for a TD so weird how that works
Gattis has actually been pretty decent between the 20s all year the RZ is the worst I’ve ever seen anywhere at any level
Those two catches early in the game (one by Mallory, I don't remember the other one) on balls that were not well placed by TVD were big. Think TVD has looked more confident since then.
