How many times does the baseball team need to keep stabbing themselves in the foot before NC State takes advantage of it?
Irrelevant for the ACC Tournament, sure. But if Miami were to go 4-0 in the ACC Tournament, there would at least be an outside shot at getting the 8th national seed. Probably fall short either way, but I don't think there is any chance at it with a 3-1 showing. This also assumes that they actually play baseball this weekend, which is no certainty.
Yeah sounds like tomorrow is not looking promising weather-wise, which explains why we saw Walters pitch today
Hell of a win for the ball club…Pipo picked a hell of a time to have his best outing of the year Tomorrow will be interesting, Clemson has been obliterating everybody. Win that game and you’re definitely in contention for a national seed.
I'm in the camp of "I'll believe the Boozers won't go anywhere but Duke until I see it," but still promising nonetheless:
No longer available I’m still pissed I wasn't able to get my hands on the FAMU ones that released for my dad. I'm willing to bet like zero actual alumni were able to get their hands on those too
Feels like the last piece to complete what would be a really good team As frustrating as Zay was at times last season, he’s leaving a humongous playmaking hole on this team. I think Cleveland could fit into Miller’s role pretty well
The perks of being a private school in a state hell bent on killing accreditation for it's public colleges
Someone in another forum said they'd been working on it for like 15 years. While it certainly doesn't hurt for sportsball stuff, I think it would be a pretty sweet thing to achieve as an alum. So congrats to all of you knuckleheads.
Would have been nice having our most reliable starter going tonight, as opposed to using him up game 1 against a team you should beat without him in Maine.
So obvious to everybody except our very own head coach. What a fucking putz. no matter what happens the rest of the way, Gino has put this team at such a humongous disadvantage
Right on cue the bats go cold and put us in the same exact position as last year I’m convinced we’re never making it back to Omaha with Gino at the helm. Finds ways to waste talent year after year
Nah JD has always been a good dude but he just hasn’t been able to keep the talent pool on the pitching staff where it needs to be. He’ll hit on top recruits, but it’s either just not enough of them or will fail to develop anybody else. I remember when Rosario, Mederos, and McFarlane were supposed to be a weekend rotation full of first round talents. So much for that.
That’s better than the other names we’ve been hearing so far He did a pretty good job building up that program
If it's Arteaga Rad can fuck off He extended DiMare and is about to pull a Manny Diaz. These morons never learn.
