been completely wrapped up in hockey, but it seems like recruiting has picked up in recent weeks. Need to close on some of these elite guys though.
For those that care, quite a few key players missing from CFB25. From a quick run through Ny Carr Porter Brown Justin Scott Both Washington brothers Tyler Barron Hopefully they get added with late opt-ins Also, UF rivalry game is the "Florida Cup" rather than the battle for the Seminole War Canoe
Are there fictional players to replace them? Would make sense of the defense being so trash if they aren’t
Did he? All I know is that he kept fighting against the TMB left and was one of their favorite punching bags. If he posted nazi shit, then bye Felicia.
According to a podcast I listen to Miami will have an absolutely loaded roster this year, should I believe it?
It will be the most talented roster we’ve had in a long time Not sure how much that means at the end of the day unless our coaches have improved significantly on gamedays
So you are basically saying yes, I am not a gambler so no worries. but I honestly think you guys might make some damage this year, miami is absolutely a bust or boom team.
If they can’t do it this year they never will. No hyperbole but this may be the most important year for the program possibly ever
both OJ and Lyles getting rave reviews. Might finally have hit on a couple STA kids for the first time since Hankerson and Brandon Linder
Trying to tame my expectations for this year, but they really have no reason not to be really good this year besides Mario
We play Drake in the opening round of the Charleston Classic, followed by Oklahoma St. or FAU and then one of Seton Hall/VCU/Vanderbilt/Nevada. We should be the favorite to win it, it's not the strongest field. In Torvik's preseason rankings, Miami is 26th, and then only two other teams are in the top 70 (VCU at 53, Nevada at 59), and both of those schools are on the opposite side of the bracket. The schedule is okay, but I would have liked to have one more quality opponent, either a home game or a true road game, at the expense of one of the six 250+ teams on the schedule. Doesn't have to be a top 25 team, but just a squad that could contend for an at-large bid. As it stands, it's not a guarantee you get a Q1 matchup out of the Charleston Classic, so you are putting a lot of stock on getting at least one win against Arkansas/Tennessee to have any sort of non-conference resume to stand on.
Tomorrow is the day. I haven't been this excited in awhile. I actually believe we are good. If the gators beat us, it will hurt.
cautiously optimistic over here, but i’ll believe it when i see it from my limited perspective, hoping for playoffs, and whatever happens from there is gravy imo
Everything we’ve heard so far is that he’s a stud but can be a bit of a gunslinger if forced into a pass-heavy game plan We should have a good enough rushing attack that he really isn’t in that situation much
This is my thinking as well Even if we lose a close one today, the conference looks to be pretty ass this year. Can we finally take advantage?
The issue is that the gators are ass. It’s way more likely that a loss today means we are frauds rather than the gators being good.
weird shit happens in the swamp but the ACC is ass. I’m quite upset that yall got the right transfer and we got the broken one
I mean a large portion of your fanbase spent all offseason telling us it was the other way around despite every ranking saying ward was the better QB available.
If you really think that, that's on you for reading the obscure corners of the base. I'm not convinced there's a tremendous delta, but I didn't see any significant numbers say that the preference was dj > ward. Certainly there was a preference for dj > potentially nobody while he was flirting with the nfl though
oh it’s gameday the ward recruitment was so odd I can’t be bothered to get excited for this season I imagine in 8 hours or so the clowns in the fanbase who bought the CIS hype will be posting how they can still win the ACC after another putrid loss program is cursed
I’ve deluded myself into ignoring the failure to kneel because the game was so horrifically officiated by an obviously biased ref.
