Hopefully the passing will improve as the players get used to playing together. You could tell that a good bit of it was due to unfamiliarity, not sure which way a teammate would turn or angle his run. Today’s game would have been a nightmare for Leno - he is so timid in the air. Arteta’s slow, methodical attack is not a great match for Auba. Hopefully the speed of the attack improves.
- If Partey is hurt I swear to god - really happy with White/Gabriel - need more drilling in the 433, the balance felt off. Promising though - AMN and Sambi are nice defensive options off the bench - still think our best lineup is a 4231 with ESR wide left

A little but that happens when trying to play out of the back, especially early in a system. Thinking it will get ironed out over time. I still feel comfortable with him on the ball him competing aerially was more what I was referring to

ramsdale had a really nice punt to auba to relieve some pressure that i thought was a peach and played well imo tomi looks good first 10 minutes we looked fast and played quick, but after that we seemed to revert back to the mean nice fk goal and will take all the wins we can get to get us back in top 6, but still think we need to create better chances imo build up from the back and middle third was better, but that may have been because burnley likes to sit back and counter
They pressed pretty high though, much higher than I thought they would at least. I think we are getting into better positions, just generally bottling it when we do. This week was worse than last. Also it’s so nice to see us able to bomb forward now. Felt like either PEA, Saka or Pepe were just on an island, no one else could get forward. Today we saw many breaks where The person carrying the ball wasn’t instantly closed down because they had to respect a pass. Nuno is fast as hell, AMN, ESR and Tierney depending on his positioning as well. Sambi can move as well and it will be nice when Martinelli is integrated.
I was nervous when Partey came off, but AMN played well today. He will get a lot of situational minutes this year

Xhaka is annoying and I really wish we sold him this summer. But he played well last season after coming back from his red card. Let’s hope he does it again today.
