not the death itself but days before a guy in a ski mask was in her driveway shooting at her which they think was Alex and the first time they tried killing her of course no proof
Lori bought the wedding right before Chad’s wife even passed away: https://www.crimeonline.com/2020/03...w-hubby-chad-daybells-wife-died-in-her-sleep/ Lock them both up and throw away the key. EDIT: Wedding ring
Ain't gonna happen. She thinks she's running the show. You can tell by the smug look she has on her face every time she makes a court appearance.
if you are the believe what the nieces husband said to the police about the zombies, people need to be killed to free their souls etc it seems like it’s chad pulling the strings
I haven't followed this closely but did catch the dateline last night. The niece seems like either a total idiot or is fully aware and hiding it all.
I thought for sure she was in on everything initially but after last night I think she’s just an innocent pawn from a criminal perspective. I didn’t get the impression she was hiding anything. An ugly divorce with Brandon made uglier by Alex Cox actions.
New one last night, didn’t see the original. I didn’t have the full backdrop on Al (like knowing he also went to prison for trying to kill the third husband and went after the niece’s ex) and the whole picture with the cult. I was a casual follower of the case beforehand
Finally watched the dateline episode really felt like the niece and her husband were coached up by their attorney to try and distance themselves as much as from Lori and the psycho cult. They either didn’t ask her or she refused to answer so they didn’t show it a lot of questions about her involvement Her playing the whole “oh I thought she was playing with friends” excuse about never seeing the daughter when she moved to Idaho didn’t pass the smell test, neither did her denying it was her brother that shot at her ex husband saying “oh we joked about how ridiculous it was to think it was him” if I remember right she had her kids taken away because of her involvement and shared beliefs with Lori and chad’s group amongst other things so I’d imagine that’s her reasoning for playing dumb on this episode I think the stuff her husband told the FBI and in that manifest his ex wife found were telling about how crazy the niece is as well as Lori and chad. He did a 180 in his dateline interview where he said he was now understanding her viewpoint and stands by her but considering he agreed to record phone calls with his wife for the FBI goes to show his first instinct was that she knew what happened I’m beginning to think the niece could be the key to flipping her against Lori and chad and getting some answers
Also that stuff about chad/Lori buying the rings on amazon 10 days before his wife mysteriously died was new and shocking info but a good attorney obviously could say he planned to leave his wife and that doesn’t show he murdered her interesting to see what comes from that ICloud
This whole story would be a great X-File, assuming it turned out that Maricopa County Examiner was in the cult too and the climax saw Scully face off against Lori's Husband.
I guess we're lucky she's choosing to go through the legal process rather than using her powers to kill all her jailers and go back to Hawaii to live free.
Feels like that would require some pretty sophisticated planning and knowledge on their part. I don't get the feeling that they're intelligent enough for that. Is the Zone of Death theory common knowledge in that area?
At what point is proof of life required for the kids? Or is that just something related to terrorist kidnapping that I'm repeating from TV shows
Thats basically what the Idaho court requested, she refused and that’s why she’s been sitting in a jail cell ever since
