100% after 41 reviews on RT. Looks like he's about to get a lot more work. Interesting concept
Didn’t know this was his project, been interested in it for quite a while. Def in
yes I too am intrigued by this movie
Supposedly it's a slow burn, atmospheric tension building type horror movie, which is what I love, so I'm pumped.
I will for sure being seeing this
Where can I see this
Coming to a theater near you!
Do they have movie theaters in West Virginia?
The premiere is at my neighborhood theater tonight. Just walked by.
it looks really cool and i'll end up watching it, but the part where the kid stops and pulls out the crazy loud toy kind of irks me. like, why does he even have that if you're being stalked by creatures that hunt off of sound
Because kids are the universe’s greatest trolls
Supposed to be terrifying from beginning to end
A bit surprised it’s pg13
why does a kid have a toy
news at 11
it's more that it's a toy that makes a fuckton of noise in an environment where making noise is literally fatal. kinda think if you're a parent in that situation, the first thing you do is confiscate the noisy toys
it's whatever. the movie is gonna be awesome and i won't die on this hill
I want to go see it but I hate scary movies because I’m a pussy
but I want to support Krasinski because I think he is awesome and got a raw deal in The Office by being attached to Pam
difficult decision here
Filmed a town over from where I grew up.
Looks pretty visually stunning. I don’t think I’ve seen him since the office.
The actual filming of this was crazy apparently. The locals from the town next door all have AIDS, but don't know it, and no one has the heart to tell them.
the hospital in which he was born is around the corner from where I live
He obviously has not seen the cinematic masterpiece "Leatherheads'.
Or Michael Bay's Benghazi movie. Not a patriot.
I also assume that the woman got pregnant before these noise-hunting animals became a threat, otherwise that seems like a completely avoidable conflict.
I'm sure it's well made and the concept is novel, but this screams "gimmick" to me.
My wife hates scary movies so we compromised and will be seeing it middle of the day on a weekend so it's not dark and scary out when we leave the theater.
He's trying his hand in action movies to get away from being typecasted as the Jim character imo
Looks to me like something the kid grabbed while they were scavenging in town
I agree. He is pretty visually stunning.
Oh that’s right. Didn’t see it but I did hear him interviewed about that one. No thanks.
and how dare you guys forget about him being Jack Ryan and trying to outdo Christopher Pine
He played a pretty convincing union lawyer in Detroit.
Had to keep up with bae, imo
But that hasn't even be released yet.
Unless its an unbelievable oversight you can work that into the script pretty easily and believably. Family stumbles upon abandoned farm, kid goes into another kids room, sees that on the shelf and puts it in his backpack. Having never played with it before he pulls it out at an inopportune moment.
Emily Blunt is the best
Slightly OT but the prank war the Krasinskis have with Jimmy Kimmel is great.
I suspect this movie will garner undue praise because of Krasinski...similar to the phenomenon of people being guilted into pretending that Get Out was great
Why would someone feel guilted into praising a movie starring Jim from The Office?
First, we get it you didn’t like Get Out. 2nd, Get Out was really damn good. And 3rd, I have no clue what parallel you are trying to make here.
Hot take alert
Obviously it won’t have the white guilt factor, but there will be a similarly vapid response when you imbeciles celebrate Jim from the office being an artist
13 hours was pretty good. It's just hard to imagine Jim and Roy being total badasses.
It’s got to be exhausting being this miserable of a fuck.
I’m not wrong though
Not sure which part of the filming you’re referring to, but I did find it weird that they filmed a small part of it in Little Falls. This despite a majority of it apparently taking place a decent distance away.
Roy is even harder to take hardcore when you consider
Pam gets to go home to that dream boat
Anyone see this yet?
Going tonight, thanks MoviePass
Might just have to sign up early for MoviePass since it now costs an absurd $9.50 for a matinee showing at my local theater.
