17 chapters ago Daeny met Drogo for the first time. Now she has an army, a fleet, and 3 dragons. She has traveled thousands of miles.
I'll never admit to hating her dude, the series is called a song of FIRE and ice. If I didn't like her people would try to shit on me for it.
can't really go into much further detail but if you dislike the Jon chapters because he's just dicking around at the wall... well....Dany.... yeah.
Lyanna Stark died in a room full of blood after being kidnapped by Rhaegar and made Ned promise her something as she was dying. She was also being guarded by 3 of the best Kingsguards. Why was she so importart that Rhaegar had 3 of the best knights in tbe kingdom guarding her?
OP is downsy and knows nothing. I fucking hated Sansa and Catelyn chapters, how you don't like or grasp the importance of Jon chapters.... I don't get it. If anything, the shit south of the wall seems like unimportant details and the wall/wildlings/others/wights seem like the major plot at play. I think it's moving slower than the other story lines because he intends to write 7 books...
Read the first 2 books over 3 years ago. Never started the 3rd book, joined the Army and just recently started to read the series again. Started the third book today. Prologue: The ending gave me chills. What a perfect way to end the second season on HBO. Another note, Chett loves nothing more then kicking the hounds, probably kicked them over 70 times. We get it GRRM, you don't like dogs. Jaime: Lots of similarities to Tyrion in a sense. Dude just doesn't give a fuck. Really enjoyed this chapter and possibly see him and Brienne becoming friends through all of this. Catelyn: We get it, your father is dying, you think your youngest kids are dead, your husband is dead, worst mother ever. Would wish that she would just jump off of the balcony of Lord Hoster's room. Such a dumb cunt to think that Jaime and Brienne will get to Kings Landing without any trouble. Arya: Liked the warg dream. Knowing the Nymeria and her pack killed the Mummers or whoever was chasing after them. Hot Pie cracks me up, typical fat lazy ass kid. Do hope that Gendry finds out one day that he is Robert's bastard. Kid is a beast. Interested to see if Arya makes it to Riverrun. Highly doubt it though. Tyrion: Glad to see him stand up for himself against his father. Tywin just needs to stop being a cunt and get over his wife dying. Its been like what, 30 something years? Wonder how Tyrion is gonna get around with Shae now that Tywin will hang any whores he sleeps with. Wonder what Shae will think of his scars. Would love nothing more then to see Tyrion somehow be the cause of Cersei's death. My guess is Tywin will promise Tyrion something like Riverrun. Davos: Fucking boss. Survivor. Fucking Medieval Navy Seal. Got a feeling Davos will try and kill Melisandre sooner or later. Don't know how but hope he is successful.
start your own thread jack, so you don't get spoiled. Also because you don't want to be tainted by fried-chicken and his shit tier preferences
I'm getting nervous that I'm becoming the GOT board's skip bayless. I read a Jon chapter that I kind of found interesting after reading your cases for why Jon doesn't suck. I sort of feel like I need to stick to my guns now though and twist it to defend my case.
This is a choice we've all faced at one point or another... You must decide whether or not you're going to troll.
Just started reading like a week ago and I'm up to book 3. I can't decide if catelyn or sansa is the worst character in the book, I hope they both end up getting raped to death. Basically every character over the age of 15 is a huge faggot tho
I'm going that route as well right now. Jon is one of the only adult characters with redeeming qualities in spades, and he gets shit on by his family. Plus catelyn freed jaime for her retard ass daughter, which is another source of me being constantly reminded that I hate her. My favorite characters arya right now, and Jon 2nd probably
So wait a second here Spoiler Cat comes back from the dead, Tyrion kills his father, Littlefinger kills Lysa, and Jon is Lord Commander? What a book. I'm interested where things go from here.
Spoiler The next couple books seem relatively slow, but if you go into them with the idea that book 3 was a mini climax and understand his next few books are setting up for a grand finale, they're even more gooder
