The context of this quote and the theater of asking it says, literally, next to nothing. He was driving a golf cart downhill during a golf match. Doesn’t mean shit either way lol
that’s my point, it could mean everything, or nothing. the quote was a lot longer and the way he said it kind of means nothing in the scheme of things. It’s 100% good for a lot of retweets and talk radio. Absolutely
How is that necessarily proof? Edit: I don't think it's about money, I think it's about making the FO squirm and flexing what power he does have, and some about money. I just don't know how him turning down a contract without seeing the terms proves anything
Really would like to avoid getting carved up by Rogers at home week 1. Gonna need a few weeks to figure this corner situation we have
Our D is getting old. Hopefully guys like Jenkings, Jordan, Davis l, etc can still play at a high level this year
I'm obviously biased but it's harder to see him not coming back to Green Bay for 2021 1. He hasn't done or said anything over the line or gone scorched-earth (publicly at least) 2. GB isn't trading him 3. He loves football and is very aware of his legacy, not sure sitting out is something he has in him. 4. He's really going to sit out a full season with one of the 5 best teams in the league a year after winning MVP? come on 5. If he was going to sit out, wouldn't he have taken the COVID opt-out so he could still collect some paychecks?
Last thing I'd say here is that if they thought Jordan Love was anywhere near ready, a Rodgers deal might already have been done. Nothing the GM would love more than to trade the guy who hates him and turn the keys over to the GM's hand-picked 1st round successor.
kinda pulling for the Bears this year maybe go 9-8, give Pace a few extra years to see how he can build a roster with Fields IMO
I for one am all for the Bears staying in 7-9 or 8-8 range in perpetuity. Enough hope to shatter, not bad enough to clean house, and not bad enough to get an elite talent in the draft. Trestman was their only hope and they came up with Trubiski and that crappy wr from that.
they can't get an elite talent in the first in this draft no matter what so that's why we all should hope for 0-17 just as a prank
Aaron Rodgers bought a stake in the Bucks and thanks to his hissy fit he can't even show his face there for a championship. Hope it was worth it
I wonder what guys like Jones and Adams are thinking. Is it A. This is a business and we support our QB and what he’s doing and done for us or B. What the fuck is his problem? We were close Last year and have a top 5 team that could potentially win it all. Why can’t he just get to work
The message has been a. Bakhtiari has said basically exactly that, and the wr group all sat out those few days of mini camp.
Yeah, I haven’t paid attention to player reactions, etc. I guess when he returns and the Packers are 4-2 or 5-1 and leading the North no one on the team will care when Rogers is winning them games
