I enjoy the late night King of the Hill

 

I used to watch it, couldn't get into ATHF, tried a few times... Tim and Eric Awesome Show is the fruitiest fucking spat of dog vomit I have ever had the misfortune of watching... Venture Bros is the shit...Fullmetal Alchemist is the shit... SeaLab 2021 is a refreshing change from the usual boring crap on tv. The program itself tries too hard to be different and sometimes gets too deep or abstract for me to get drawn in at times. Would watch again... maybe.

 

I can't decide if the bizarre surreal aspect of their shows is intentional or just a byproduct of the writers being stoned and giggling at how funny it would be to have things like a giant talking milkshake

I'm obsessed with Tim and Eric. Also love Metalacolypse, King of the Hill, Aqua Teen... Adult Swim is awesome

 

Sealab 2021 is so freaking good. ATHF can be really good or really weird, Tim and Eric is so freaking bizarre but it hurts my head in a good way. Metalocalypse is good too.

 

I hate them for reviving Family Guy, but love them for reviving Futurama and King of the Hill. I like that they are willing to go full-on with extremely absurd, subversive humor though they're very hit and miss. I hate Robot Chicken, The Boondocks, Metalocalypse and Venture Brothers. But I really like Aqua Teen, The Brak Show, Home Movies, Tim & Eric, and Squidbillies. I remember when I was waiting for Adult Swim to premiere, I couldn't really figure out how the hell they were going to make adult programming for Cartoon Network work.

 

Harvey Birdman is great too, and Robot Chicken is pretty good

 

i remember being around 5th grade when adult swin debuted and thinking i had stumbled upon some free porn. then i was all wtf after watching for a couple minutes

 

So hit or miss. I could never get into shit like ATHF or sealab. I like Tim and Eric but this season is sort of a disappointment to me. I also tried to watch the Check It Out with Steve Brule show but couldn't take anymore after 3 episodes. The whole "worn out" videotape gag got really old fast.

 

I like it a lot. I don't really like Family Guy or Robot Chicken or the Japanese stuff but I like most everything else a lot.

I hope they never show American Dad, I will die.

 

It is just so boring to me. The one-hour special was cool, but after that it kind of felt vapid. Anyway, I forgot to mention one of the greatest shows they revived;

Sea Lab and Squidbillies are wonderful. ATHF and Tim and Eric can also be very funny at times.

Robot Chicken isn't always funny, but its usually pretty good. Its the random stuff that really gets me.... Like an alarm clock sleeping in a bed and a small human screaming next to it on the bedside table

 

it's the source of his strength IMO

 

yeah the long sketches always suck, but the 3-5 second ones are hilarious.

 

What Adult Swim needs to do now to solidify its place in the annals of comedic history as the panacea for the dead or dying comedic shows is start showing re-runs of MST3k.

 

I don't always get migraines, but when I do Robot Chicken is often the cause of them

I used to watch Space Ghost every time it came on, and have a few seasons of ATHF and Sealab. The new stuff is weird as fuck.

and user atl14straight is rapidly falling in the ranks of posters who i don't hate

 

Start watching it again -- it's infinitely better as an adult.
