As someone said earlier, a turn by the Bucks then Omega siding with them is a better swerve than just turning Hangman like they are teasing.
WM card. I read it could be 16 matches. I'm adding a 17th simply because it's HHH and he will likely have a match. Whether he's willing to put someone over is another question. 1. Brock/Drew 2. Roman/Goldberg 3. Cena/Fiend 4. Edge/Orton 5. Taker/AJ 6. Rollins/KO 7. Lynch/Bazler 8. Charlotte/Ripley 9. Bayley/Naomi (??) 10. Banks/Stratus (??) 11. Miz &Morrison/New Day/Usos 12. Street Profits/AOP (??) 13. Braun/Corbin/Sheamus (?? Title match) 14. Men's Battle Royal 15. Women's Battle Royal 16. Rey/Andrade/Carillo/Garza (Title match) 17. HHH/Aleister Black (??) That's a lot of wrestling but I think it covers everything going and all the titles.
don’t think 10,12 or 17 happen. Also people putting out these rumored matches fucking suck. (Not blaming your personally but the dirt sheets).
I just wish the dirt sheets would no spoil returns, debuts or possible matches for mega events like Rumble, Summer Slam and Mania. The other shows... spoil away. But they really take the excitement out of build ups and this is from someone who never checks any of these sites yet the info always trickles out and ruins shit. I'm still pissed over the Edge stuff.
NXT is becoming meh. I used to watch both at the same time in my office, but the past few months I'd just rather watch AEW on the big screen and catch NXT the day after. I'm not even sure they could do anything different, it's just AEW feels like can't miss TV now. And there's so many things on the horizon to be excited about. The War Games match, the reveal of the Exalted One, the debuts of Archer/Hardy/Lee, MJF's ascension into the title scene (I think they mentioned his undefeated streak last night for this reason), etc. Meanwhile NXT is letting Roddy Strong main event two weeks in a row. Maybe they need Killer Kross more than the main roster right now.
I’ve said it from the start... AEW needs to get out of Full Sail. They don’t need to tour in 10-15k professional stadiums. You can book smaller venues like AEW was in last night and it will be fine. College basketball stadiums are good places as well. As for the Strong point it’s not him who is being pushed. The storyline is actually pretty good. But this all in a effort to push Dream to a world title shot at Mania against Cole. The gargano interview was excellent. There is still a ton to great stuff on both shows. But AEW has more going on right now coming off a PPV. Especially with Jericho leaving for two months to tour with Fozzy
In thought the interview and the end of the Dream match were excellent. Dream getting that he had Cole trapped was cool. I just think rest of NXT lacks any substance.
I've been more of an NXT guy myself and starting actually getting annoyed with AEW. The last few weeks have started to flip and AEW had a nice run towards their PPV and delivered at the PPV. However, I did not like the Dynamite card at all last night. I'm sorry, but PAC vs Chuck will never get a nod from me. I do like the potential of the new Devils Triangle stable though. I also could've done without Moxley's pandering promo. Was never a fan of his anyways.
AEW has done an amazing job with Darby Allen. I had never heard of the guy and was super skeptical when he debuted. Now he is must see TV when he's in the ring. They've also done an amazing job of making Sammy Guevara one of the most hateable guys in wrestling. I thought the main event was great last night. Also was awesome how they teed up Jericho leaving to go on tour and then he prevailed anyway. Nice subtle swerve for the smarks out there.
