Seems appropriate. Everyone always tries to be so edgy and are finding out there are consequences for your actions.
Geez louise, this reads like it's 2008 and John Cena asked for six months off. Charlotte is not a needle mover. Vince won't need to push the panic button to get her back by summerslam. She'll get a pop when she comes back and whenever she says woo, that's it.
No one in the industry moves the needle. Maybe Okada in Japan but Tanahashi is the bigger star over there. WWE is mostly responsible for this since the industry goes as they go. While people have turned to alternatives over WWE, no new fans are coming in, so other companies can absolutely grow, but there is a ceiling for them until WWE brings in new fans or AEW finds a way to be more than they are.
I must say that I was wrong, I liked orange Cassidy’s gimmick but didn’t think it could go somewhere on a weekly show but here we are with me interested to see his match with Jericho
I see the speak out movement has hit the wrestling youtube people as well, especially wrestling talk. Their founder Alex Shane got called out and people giving them shit for hiring Adam Blampied as well. Looks like Blampied has left again as well. I guess Alex Shane is accused of sleeping with a 15 year old and taking nude pictures of her to keep on a wall of shame he has. I am not too familiar with Shane, but I have seen some Blampied videos and was actually watching his weekly quiz show last week for some background noise as I worked. Funny enough David Starr was a guest contestant on that episode.
Also Jericho is a true professional. This is exactly what a wrestler at his point in a career should be doing; working with young talent and helping them get over
sucks but that show never had a chance. It wasn’t bad but the time slot and station was a tough hill to climb.
Should have just went back on the network, subscribers are the ones that are going to watch it. It’s not like you are going to a casual channel flipper that is going to stop to listen to pro wrestling insider stuff
I doubt WWE would have an appetite for this show even on its network. They watered down Talking Smack and cut Bring it to the table. Her shows are good and in tune with an audience WWE should be trying to bring back in. But Vince is out of touch tbqh.
Truthfully can't wait for Renee to move on to something bigger and better. Not sure what it would be, but she just constantly gets the short end of the stick. Which reminds me I wonder what Kathy Kelly will be doing next.
I think she is getting in to acting. She had a vocal part on #BlackAF, she played a flight attendant.
Good for her. She's had a lot of experience over the past few years acting like the product wasn't mostly garbage.
as I sit here and fantasize about moving to Canada, I can't help but to think that '97 Bret was really on to something
97 Bret - Called Americans idiots - Believed in the need for family - Knew Vince was a piece of shit - Knew Shawn was a piece of shit - Knew Hunter was a piece of shit Mr Hitman was always right
I vividly remember him bringing up Canada's healthcare system during one of his promos dogging us Mr Bret was ahead of his time
so in actuality the WM 13 double turn was really just a single turn with a faux turn only to be revealed 23 years later, just exceptional long term booking
Mike Johnson reported that everyone is being tested again today and those that are negative will take part in taping a tomorrow and Saturday.
Out of curiosity I checked, and this is only the third time this year NXT has beaten AEW. I don't know if they beat them any last year but they might have. NXT won by 1k viewers on April 8, and by 9k on April 15. Other than that AEW has won, sometimes by a few thousand and sometimes by as many as 400k viewers. Both companies are fighting an intense war to control a very small pool of potential viewers.
Since in your house NXT has put on some really good shows. Last night had a big time main event I’m sure people tuned in for. I haven’t watched AEW in 3 weeks. The loss of live crowd (was a huge advantage for AEW) and the fact that have gone less serious really doesn’t keep me interested in the product.
I’m just the opposite, I’ve been more into AEW the last few weeks because they’ve gone the less serious route. With everything else going on, I need to see some not serious shit I haven’t sat down and really watched Raw or Smackdown in I can’t even remember how many weeks
Pretty bad WWE passed on her for a reason....and when you’re too toxic for them, you might as well be Radioactive Man
You gotta be really fucking bad if TNA is all naaaah when you're still under contract. I mean shit, they gave Bram like 4 contract extensions for beating the shit out of Charlotte.
Both shows are building the next two weeks as PPV level. NXT is doing champion vs champion (Cole vs Lee) as its main event Not sure what AEW has lined up but it’s being built up in the same fashion
