That shit had to be real. No way was that supposed to be the way it went. Randy was legit busted. That was a nasty cut
Of course the night AJ puts himself on the WWE map, WWE lets him down with a PPV that will be remembered for being utter shit.
Seth should always be champ. there I said it. And I won't be happy if it's anyone else, including balor.
Yikes Umm, Sasha/Charlotte, AJ/Cena and Seth/Finn were all great The rest was somewhere in between shit and average. Should have been a great show, but it was just kinda there. Also waaaaaay too long.
Horrendous final hour. How do you basically have zero legit matches unless that cut wasn't planned and they rushed to cut it short.

hi, so I am debating going to Night of Champions so I watched highlights of last night and a bit of tonight it was poop and now I don't want to go. unless Shinsuke Nakamura will be there. Will he be there?
I think the finish (Randy getting beat down post match, Shane coming out, F5) was planned. The timing + RKO nearly donating a gallon of blood, not planned.
Lost in all the sup par night: -The continued slow turn of Reigns. He was ever jarring with the crowd after coming out for the last spear. -Aggressive Big E, destroying The Club by himself. New Day is usually all finesse, but he came out and kicked ass. -Miz is an under rated heel mid-card champion. Not a cool heel, he gets legit heat.
Show was too long. No one is left "wanting more " everyone is left "wanting it to hurry along." I was at the gym tonight so I didn't watch until like 10pm, so I skimmed through a lot of filler that didn't need to be on the show at all. Only stellar match was Cena/Styles. Balor/Rollins was also really really good. That universal title looks like a novelty cake some Food Network show would create. Ambrose/Ziggler felt like small potatos partially due to Ziggler not really a serious challenger and partially due to it being on the midcard. Lesnar vs Orton did a little more than Ambrose vs Lesnar at Mania, but not much more. The finish was interesting, I guess to protect Orton from taking a pin, but it wasn't as brutal and surreal as the blood bath Lesnar gave Cena at Extreme Rules 2012. Also no "F5 counter into an RKO" is cause to demand a refund
Pretty disappointing SS. AJ/Cena obviously best match of the night. I'm not feeling Balors rocket push, been in the main card a month and has beaten Rusev, Reigns, and Rollins clean. Not sure why he's being pushed this way.
Judging by the crowds for the past month, everyone either knows him from NXT (hardcore crowds) or has instantly fallen in love with him (fickle stupid casual crowds). He's been a "top" guy in "WWE" for two years now. The great gulf between NXT and WWE is basically a walk across the street now.
Watch the end, you can see the ref throw the blood tablets under Orton. Was all a work. https://streamable.com/grv0
Ref definitely had nothing in his hands and he was bleeding before he "throws" anything anyway. Plus i saw a closeup pic on twitter somewhere...he's 100% busted open
Don't be daft. It was a "work" in that it was planned. Just like the Extreme Rules 2012 hardway was planned. There was no blood tablet. First of all blood tablets have a very distinct look and are rarely ever used anymore because they're so obviously fake. Second, it's obvious from Lesnar's tactic (driving elbows onto Orton's head) and from the WAY Orton bled (with a steady flow of blood like someone turned on a faucet) that it was a hardway/ he was busted open. When you're cut with a razor you don't bleed like that, at least not initially (unless you hit an artery, like Muta and Guerrero did). Orton looked like someone took a machete to his skull.
Something was messed up with the finish, I think it was partly planned but they didn't expect Orton to get that fucked up. My guess was Shane was supposed to stop the attack and it leads to some RAW guys trying to deflect to SD because Shane "looks out for his guys" Also Balor might be hurt pretty bad...could have a torn labrum in shoulder...
The ending of the Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar SummerSlam match, which went pretty much as planned, led to a verbal and somewhat physical confrontation between Lesnar and Chris Jericho last night. According to multiple sources, Jericho came to the gorilla position just as the match ended, apparently to see if Orton was okay and to find out what exactly happened. He asked Michael Hayes what the finish was or if that was the finish. Hayes wouldn't answer him at which point Jericho said, "That's bullsh*t." Jericho said that just as Lesnar came back from the ring. Lesnar thought he was talking about his match, and called Jericho a pussy according to one version, or "shut up" according to another, and to mind his own business. The two got face-to-face and started exchanging words, with one version saying they were shouting at each other the whole time. Lesnar pushed Jericho with his fingers, and Jericho did what was described as the "Rousey-Tate" foreheed press. One version also had Jericho shoving Lesnar to the wall at one point. They got tangled up against the wall and Lesnar told Jericho to punch him or kiss him. Paul "HHH" Levesque jumped in quickly and broke it up. It was heated enough that they went back at it at which time Vince McMahon broke it up. Jericho started yelling about Lesnar and McMahon told Jericho that it was all a work and to be professional. Levesque reportedly told McMahon that Lesnar started it, and Jericho was just standing up for himself but there were more words exchanged. Jericho saw Orton and got mad, which everyone noted was because he was concerned with Orton's health and safety. Orton reportedly assured him that he knew the way everything was coming.
Is Seth Rollins a dangerous worker? Knocked out Cena for a few weeks with that knee Forced Sting to retire with a neck injury Just injured Balor and is out for a while probably
