If they push Mania to June it doesn’t mean they have to put it in a stadium. You can run it in a arena ( MSG anyone?) it will fill up. They can increase the ticket prices because of going to a arena vs stadium. Give us pyro, give us atmosphere. Give us Mania. Not this warehouse garbage that’s been trotted out for a few weeks now. I get it they want to put something on. Maybe they are getting crazy pressure from the TV companies but it’s not good. AEW probably gave it the best go last week and that wasn’t good either. Just air past huge events on TV till we have an all clear. Stop over thinking it. RAW saw a big bump in ratings the night they aired The Royal Rumble in its entirety. People will tune into re runs.
You’re crazy if you think anyone is doing any type of event in June. AEW already postponed every show through their PPV on May 23 and that is going to likely be postponed as well.
I mean it’s likely the NHL and NBA playoffs will be in empty arenas if those seasons aren’t outright canceled. There is just no scenario where I see a WWE show with a crowd until the fall, as much as Vince will try.
Probably why they went with a tag match for Andrade but they just wrestled so if Rey passed it to him and he isn't showing symptoms yet he could also then pass it on to everyone at the tapings for Mania. And this is why more than anything else you don't fucking tape a wrestling show in the middle of a fucking global pandemic. I hope this shuts down everything.
I just plucked a month down the road. Do the event in September, October... It wouldn't matter when because under what I'm suggesting you aren't putting any live shows on anyways so storylines would freeze and just pick up before the event.
Fuck this about Eddie and Benoit is a rough watch. Next week about new Jack should be super interesting
Honestly if they did something unique and different like this for every match I would probably watch WM.
If I can't get a Judy Bagwell on a forklift or Viagra on a pole match, I'm not even watching. They should bring Russo back for two nights and let him book the WM card.
I’m actually more interested in warehouse mania than I would have been if it just went on as planned or just got rescheduled. WWE (Vince) can do some great stuff when they are forced out of their norm. Will there be some dogshit? For sure. However, I'm betting there is going to be some very interesting and different moments too.
Just finished the VICE Benoit doc. Chavo seems like a really, really good dude who has been through some rough shit.
just wait until the last 15 minutes of part 2. Big mistake watching it right before going on a conference call for work
Makes sense for him and another reason they shouldn't be doing this mania. But sucks for wwe they ruined the Fiend dominant streak and mystique to put the belt on a part timer to get Reigns over and now it wont even get Reigns over (although it wouldn't have anyway tbh)
No issues with the Roman info... Moving forward please no Mania spoilers... It's still real to me dammit
Time to pull the plug, Vince: https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2...ges-multiple-wrestlers-sick-high-temperatures I know he's as "show must go on" as it gets, but why not just replay the best Raws and PPVs from the Attitude Era until they can go back to normal shows?
Can't wait for the Universal Championship match I'm six months with Apollo Crews battling Bo Dallas for the belt becuase they didn't contract Covid during WrestleMania.
It’s the year 2022. Akam is the unified champion after defeating the only other member of the roster still alive, Taynara Conti, for the title in a three hour iron...person?...match.
Interesting to hear Brodie Lee talk about how wwe was offering him a huge raise even though he hadn’t been on tv for 8 months. Tried to sign everyone to huge raises even if they were never going to use them so they wouldn’t go to AEW
