That show did it for me last night. KOR's debut, trying to figure out how Cole exists between reDRagon and the Bucks, knowing those two will have wars again. And the main event was the first time a multi man tag gave me the feels of the Radicalz/DX vs Rock/Cactus Jack/Too Cool. That match had everything. Sting coming out in Punk's paint, Punk coming out as old Stinger, FTR's theme (my favorite in the world right now), MJFTR in matching tights, all made the match feel "big". Then the match delivered because they gave it 20+ minutes. As scary as it was, MJF's bad bump added to the match. And Darby flying around never ceases to amaze me. MJF playing chicken shit to Punk, Sting looking absolutely fucking amazing at 60+ years old, AEW using him perfectly, just everything made this match perfect. Then all 3 finishes to finally put away Dax. That coffin drop was nuts. And can we talk about how ridiculous the tag division is now? Bucks reDRagon Briscoes Lucha Bros FTR Santana and Ortiz Varsity Blondes Jurassic Express Men of the Year (sidebar, Scorpio Sky is fucking awful when Lambert is talking. You don't have to emote everything he says, just stand still dummy) Team Taz (Starks/Hobbs/Hook doing a Demolition 3 man thing is something I could get behind) Mox/Kingston Black and King 2point0 The Acclaimed Best Friends Dark Order The Hybrid 2 (criminally underused) Private Party I mean that's just insane. And I might be missing some. If they didn't have so many tournaments already, that tag division is screaming for a tournament. When I was a kid, I loved Lethal Lottery/Battle Bowl. Wouldn't mind seeing something like that for the tag division.
As someone said earlier, give me one show with all tag matches. I’d love to see Kingston keep taking losses/beating from 2.0 and have Mox return as his comeback. That place will erupt.
The best part of having such a stacked tag team division is that you could just put the Bucks on their youtube show and never have to watch them wrestle on a main show again.

Steiner is one of the great innovators of wrestling. He was Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar rolled into one.

I remember when AEW started that I thought Private Party looked legit but I can’t even remember the last time I saw them in Dynamite or Rampage. Would be cool to see AEW do something like NJPW does and have a special show that’s just tag matches.

Agreed. I like Cole and always enjoy his matches, but he looks like a rando they just plucked out of the crowd and put in a speedo. It's one thing if he specializes in something like submissions or acrobatics, but he does neither. Part of the art is the physical appearance of the performers imo.

Maybe you should watch weightlifting instead then. Or stick to watching WWE where they will gladly push the physique guys to the top or near the top despite lacking wrestling and/or mic talent.
I don’t think he needs to be a big muscled up guy but his body from NXT to AEW is very noticeable. He has a gut.

Roman Charlotte Big E Becky all check both boxes Bayley Sasha Bianca AJ KO Rollins Balor Uso’s Brock Sami Edge New Day Street Profits Those are the tier one talent in WWE. They all can wrestle and they can all cut promos. probably the only guy in tier one who doesn’t check both is The Miz.
