Did you also not like Rey Mysterio? He's billed at 175. Or what about 188 lb. Ricochet? Or 190 lb. Finn Balor? Weights all taken from Wikipedia, FYI.
I liked Rey for what he was. A cruiserweight. There's a big difference between guys like Ricochet and Balor as opposed to an Adam Cole. As I've said before, Cole clearly doesn't have an athletic bone in his body.
I don’t have any issue with Cole other than his Buck-adjacentness I love Darby. He may be 160 lbs soaking wet and as such shouldn’t be beating legit heavyweights in single matches often, but he lays every bit of what he’s got into his work and it looks great. He looks like he’s shot out of a cannon on his dives.
Like that shoulder block on the ramp when they came down on the Gunns or his dive through the ropes onto MJFTR Wednesday night…that shit looks good
So unbelievable a guy that doesn’t follow a strict diet and do steroids could win a fight against a big guy
I'm of the opinion that Cole's talented enough to overcome his physical stature in the singles main event scene, comparing him to any of those guys is beyond hilarious though
Every single guy in there is a heavyweight fighting another heavyweight. If you really think Cole is 200 lbs, you're nuts.
sakuraba was 170 and randleman fought heavyweight. Bob Sapp had 80 pounds on Noguiera Crazy Cole is the only guy who they might fudge their weight on
On the other hand he hangs out with two guys that are Shawn Michaels rip offs but misunderstood the assignment and only ended up looking like two guys that would have one marine beat them within an inch of their life in a real fight
I haven’t watched wrestling almost at all over the past few months other than the CM Punk introduction and Danielson-Page match. NXT just fell off a cliff with all their talent leaving. Watching Wednesday’s episode of AEW. I still have no idea how WWE couldn’t find a place for Tommy End. I have little doubt that he could have taken over the Undertaker role with even better work. He really sticks out more in both style and ability as any wrestler today IMO.
PWG announced its field for the 2022 BOLA and one of the competitors is Philip Five Skulls. There is no wrestler with that name, so it’s quite likely it’ll be Punk or Danielson under a mask. I tend to think it’s going to be Danielson because coming back to PWG seems like something he would do, but either way those fans are in for a treat.
It’s absolutely Danielson and that rules so hard Booker T may find this shocking, but bootlicking a horrible company may just suck.
They are literally just booking Hook like Taz was booked in ECW after his return from his broken neck. It’s great.
Is Cody trying to pretend he’s been doing a meta thing now that he can’t get over as a baby face because he has go away heat?
I assume real sports are heading this way soon at least for asymptomatic vaccinated people. Not surprised WWE is ahead of it since there is no union issues to push through.
100% in NXT they let her indy name be the character and the items I mentioned above really didn't allow her character ever get developed, she get's to the main roster and they made her a child of the 80's or 90's its so bad I don't even remember, put her right into the main event picture and had the awful thanksgiving segment.
Just started the episode I’m so fucking over the Lucha Bros. Their shit is obnoxious, it makes no sense, it buries the referee and you can’t even tell who the legal men are when they’re doing their shit. Everytime they’re in a match it just turns into a free for all. Now they’re all doing so much shit all around the different sides of the ring that production can’t even get shots of all of it. Swap belts with FTR and send them back to AAA or have them wrestle the Bucks on youtube
I’m never going to get sick of Cutler running out and spraying his teammates with the cold spray after a match
