Damn straight it bothers me, but only because he's the champion again. I'm a Brock fan, but when he holds the belt, he's supposed to be the biggest name and face of the company - that's a problem when he rarely shows up to defend the belt.

I just checked and, in the 20+ months he was champ between WM2017 and WM2019, he defended at - wait for it... 8 PPV's. So after you take out a couple of Survivor Series (champ vs champ), that's still at least 10 events where there's no championship match for the UT. That's what bothers me.

 

Seems like Sasha was injured at a house show tonight. Hope it’s not serious.

Kinda wish WWE would do away with the full time touring. Modify it to just the TV and Premium Live events.

 

Brock would be awesome as a special attraction. The problem is they haven’t created opponents for him as a special attraction.

 

You’re correct about his previous run. I will say that he’s been on TV a lot more since his recent return. Now most of that is promo stuff but feels like maybe his new deal requires more dates.

I think giving Brock the title and having him drop it to Bobby would be the ideal situation

 

They have guys you would love to see him face. But keep him and others like Cena, Edge, Taker and Goldberg from the title stuff.

 

Yeah, I'd be absolutely fine with that. Throw in the Rock too for good measure - he still owes Brock for SSlam '02.

I'm still annoyed they didn't let Edge have a final run as champ after WM last year, though. IMO that would have been the perfect time for Roman to drop the belt - let him win it back at Summerslam after Edge has a nice 5 month run. Seemed like something Vince changed his mind on at late notice.
