Eddie interview earlier this week where he said didn’t trust Claudio. During the match they mentioned Claudio/Eddie’s history. Could be settinng up something between them down the line.
Most of those sheets said they planned not to resign a bunch of the lower card guys who had been around and not made much of an impact now that they’ve got so much talent
Apparently Chuck Taylor also wrestled last night for the Dark Elevation taping that will air 7/4. sounds like to me he was re-signed then. Hikaru Shida also made her in-ring return for tapings
Not a Chuckie fan and if Trent is back doing Rappongi there really isn't much for him if best friends are over.
I get so uncomfortable when they go on top of cages. That giant swing…come on now. Great match, lots of brutal spots, great blow off to the feud.
Well with yet another injury last night they may keep some of these folks around they were going to cut.
what/which injury? I don't think I ever saw what issues he was facing when he stepped away to have surgery and heal.
I get it. I actually enjoyed Logan Paul at Wrestlemania, though. He’s a huge piece of shit but he put in a ton of work to put on a good match. If Miz is serious about teaming with him to go for tag team gold, that would be a nice change of pace from the Usos and there’s high potential for Miz to just bash his skull in.
He said on Monday that they’re good and going to team up again. Something about putting him in his place for trying to show him up.
Maybe Miz should be a better wrestler so he won't get shown up by a guy stepping into a ring for his first official wrestling match.
I legitimately haven't paid attention to ratings in a year, have they fallen that much that a mil is a big boost now? Weren't they sitting around a mil for a while
They had a few weeks around there with Punk and Danielson main eventing the show That’s a huge number considering neither of them, MJF, Cole, or any other handful of big name talent they have currently out
I'm interested to see the quarterlies. Is their first time over a million since March 23 and the 4th largest total viewership for the year. They have only been over a million 8 times since October. From June 2021 thru September they were over a million 10 times. Based on Cagematch ratings, they put together a fairly rough stretch of mostly mediocre shows in August and September of 2021, both on Rampage and Dynamite, that kind of killed their momentum going forward. Those two months combined saw more Dynamite and Rampage shows rated below 7 than above 7. And that was after All Out 2021 to start September, which is the highest rated PPV in AEW history on Cagematch. Had that all-time banger and didn't really follow it up particularly well on the weeklies.
Make it happen Tony Khan. Arguably the greatest wrestler in Stardom history. Women's division needs more star power.
Word is she is heading back to Japan to be closer to family. WWE offered her a deal which she hasn't signed.
I wish Stardom was more consistent with having English commentary for their broadcasts. On top of who they already had they brought back Kairi Sane and bringing back Io as well?
Stabbing someone isn't a "spot" This deathmatch shit is cringe man. I ordered some VHS tapes when I was like 15 by mailing cash to a random PO Box. My mom found it in the mail and assumed I was trying to buy porn. Much more disappointed when she found out what I was actually buying.
are they adding her to Blackpool Combat Club? With Danielson hurt that group really does nothing for me. Instead of Trios belts they should just do a ranking for stables with a group crowned the top spot after each ppv
