Just saying in general if you're not THE main event (which there is only ever 1, lets be real) then best to go on first when the crowd is the freshest/hottest they'll be. Nobody was ever gonna see the new title as equal anyways. The man makes the title, not the other way around.
No. Constantly saying Freaking is what something a child would do to get around the no-cussing rule because they think it makes them sound cool.
I miss the first Saudi show where it was a bunch of bored sheiks sitting in ringside recliners like they were at the Bellagio sportsbook.
Glad we’re in the downfall but Roman is the best. Like Brock he elevates a story and match. Cody is going to finish that trilogy in a stronger position then he was after the royal rumble.
he didn’t wrestle in front of 250 neckbeards at a VFW hall, instant disqualification. Not enough hot dogs or handshakes imo
Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns in the same group for me. Don't generally like how slow their matches tend to be. Have to be wrestling against someone else that can carry the match for me to like it. In WWE I would rather watch something like Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles, Cody vs. Rollins, some combination of Gunther/Sheamus/McIntyre, etc. That McIntyre, Gunther, Sheamus and Usos vs. KO/Zayn at WrestleMania matches are going to likely end the year on my top 10 list. Not saying Roman and Brock aren't good, because they obviously very much are, they just aren't for me.
Roman is the best in the business. Sorry but it’s true. In a day where WWE is the selling point and not the wrestler Roman has made himself the star. For all those bitching about him still holding the title, what if he wasn’t? It would be defended by somebody a quarter as over as him and hot potatoed like it always was and means nothing.
I could watch Cody and Brock everyday. Brock needs somebody that can carry the story and emotion in a match and Cody is the best at doing that.
But maybe if Brock did ten meaningless dives to the outside while Cody waited on him and then they stayed on the top turnbuckle and choreographed a move together over the course of 45 seconds it would be better.
I’ve complained about the storyline but consider me a convert. Just remarkable story telling. Roman is incredible and I am totally bought in.
I never said he wasn't the best. I just said I don't like him. Just because someone is the best doesn't mean I'm required to like him.
For me one of the qualities you absolutely need for a main eventer is that he makes the match seem realistic rather then the next spot. They are all obviously doing the latter but the suspension of disbelief is what keeps me engaged for a match of that length. Especially with wrestlers as large as Reigns and Lesnar, they really need to sell well to make it appear a possible a less physically talented wrestler can beat them as well as choreograph properly and for the most part their matches do.
I still think the entire Bloodline story will have been wasted if Jey isn’t the guy to end the reign He doesn’t need to have a long or particularly significant title run but he should be the guy
