The women's division is crying out for another real talent. Riot is a slam dunk. Britt, Shida, Thunder Rosa, Riot, Statlander....starting to build up a legit womens roster.
Yeah this has been rumbling going all the way back to 2014. There were rumors that the WWE Network was only created so it could be sold to whatever parent company might eventually buy the whole kit and caboodle. In this case, money is on NBC/Universal, which makes sense considering their decades of history with Vince.
I could see her pursuing other interests outside of wrestling. Black and Riot make the most sense for AEW. Murphy could probably land anywhere. Strowman is a tough one to place. He should be a big money monster wherever he lands, but there's not really a feud out there that makes sense.
Was thinking the same thing. They could give him a huge push as a legit foreign monster. Lee would be good in NJPW as well.
I like Braun, like Black, like Murphy. However if they release Angel Garza, I would be extremely disappointed. Dude is a star in the making.
Black could’ve been amazing. He was awesome in NXT. God I wish Vince would step down. Hope he goes to AEW and gets to do his own thing. I don’t want him to be anywhere near the dark order
No argument on that one from me. Kind of just in disbelief right now. Money aside, you do nothing with this collective talent, have no stories or development, but keep the Jaxon Ryker’s of the World on TV every week. It’s just weird. Sadly, in ring I even think Raw has been good during most of the matches, it’s the lack of direction and everything in between that has been awful.
I don't watch NXT anymore because I know so many of these guys are going to go to the main roster, do nothing, and get released.
Braun almost feels like someone you have to sign even if he's ultimately a sloppy, low-end talent. He's big and cartoon like, and there's a place for that in pro graps. More than that, he's exactly the kind of "larger than life" guy Vince likes to monopolize in WWE, so getting him in another company is a real coup.
So you will skip watching great wrestling and storylines because of what will happen once they leave? Weird. I feel like a lot of people never really watched NXT weekly. They tuned in for the PPVs and they loved it. Now they got an alternative and they just don't bother with WWE period. That's cool. But excuses like this seem flimsy
Speaking of NXT... Cole just killed Kross on the mic. It's as if he said "i've let these chumps rock for a few months. The king is back" This title match is a good way to get the title off Kross without him taking the pin, moving him up to RAW. Where I would imagine Balor is also headed. Not sure if they go with Cole or Gargano as champ. I don't think they want to crown Kyle in a match like this. But it should be fantastic Tag match to close the show was great.
The storylines are mostly all the same. In the end one guy works his way up, wins the title, holds the title until the next big thing comes up and he drops it and goes to the main roster. Plus for me there was just attrition where the guys that are real stars have all run through NXT and gone to the main roster.
No way Vince answers to someone else that owns the company. This company is going to die a slow, painful death as his mush for brains thinks SUCH GOOD SHIT to a next generation cuck angle. They just don't need 200+ performers sitting in catering.
Jesus fuck at how horrible this Grizzly Smith Dark Side of the Ring is. Fucked up GENERATIONS of his family. DDP is a saint for what he did with Jake
Roman is cold blooded. Damn I hate to be one of those all on his jock but wow that shit was cold lol.
It probably also helps that my wife is out of town so I’m sitting out back next to my beer tap watching on a 50” TV
Andrade vs Mero hell Andrade vs anyone. AEW is getting better and better. Now we just need Samoa Joe to show up.
It’s got to be. I just don’t get how he can be as talented as he is and have full creative control for himself and yet he just has go away heat with me
Also, there is zero reason he should have went over at the PPV. Taking the pin to QT after a distraction the next show doesn’t make up for it.
He left WWE because he wasn’t being used right (which he wasn’t), does the indys building himself up, makes a new company with his friends that has actually succeeded, and he books himself into the same storyline that Vince would give him if he had went back to WWE; “hey, youre dusty’s son. That’s some good shit, let’s milk that!”
