lol you thought he was stepping away from Gorilla? Not till he's dead, and he's already taking infusions from the blood of virgins. He'll live another 100 years. Stephanie being CEO means she'll sit in the meetings and say exactly what Vince tells her to say. That's why it's her and not Khan. Nothing at all is changing.
Well, they might convince me to tune in for a live SmackDown for the first time in months. They really gonna shoot parts of this scandal into a work aren't they?
Who on the roster can come out and beat his ass to write him off to get some baby face love ( I really don't know whose on SD, haven't watched in forever)
Austin Theory if they think the beatdown will get him heel heat. Hopefully they're not so tone-deaf as to think Vince is the victim here that the crowd will cheer for.
Tony Khan downs a couple white claws and drunk-tweets dweebs at 2am: "ERMYGOSH THIS IS SO CRINGY WHAT IS HE DOING?!" Scandal-ridden Vince McMahon devotes a segment of Smackdown to himself to turn his real-life problems into a storyline: "OH WOW THIS IS AMAZING! I AM VERY SPORTS ENTERTAINED!"
They'd absolutely 100% never do it or bury Vince, but I meant it more in a joking way that some baby face comes down and runs Vince down for being a POS to make that person a bigger baby face (edit - just to be 100% clear on my my position, I think it's ridiculous he's appearing tonight and should just go away)
Uh, Stephanie like actually returning and being the new CEO being the one who fires him makes waaaaaaaay more sense.
I don’t think Stephanie will subject herself to being a tv character considering what has happened up until now. Plus it’s already insane Vince is going on TV tonight. Having Stephanie on TV would be crazy.
WWE spent the last two weeks saying how awful she was at her job. I can’t imagine she’s super psyched about them right now.
So which wrestler is Vince going to make his personal cheerleader and have them cut a promo calling all the victims a bunch of lying whores trying to milk more money out of him?
Just have Theory open the door to his car after Mr. McMahon does his spiel and run back the exploding limo storyline. I need to know how that was meant to play out.
please give me Okada! He's the one name I want to see in a big North American show more than any other.
I think Comcast will make a big play for it as this round of media rights starts to expire. They will want to bring Smackdown back and fold it all in under the Comcast/NBC/Peacock umbrella. I don't know if we'll get Smackdown on Friday Nights on NBC, but I think it will all end up back on the same family of networks before too long.
Interested to see how WWE performs in a world where there is a sale and there is little to no McMahon involvement.
It will go even more kid friendly. Remember when Braun destroyed the Camaro and then Big E drove the ATV to the ring? It was all because they had already had toys created to market that. It's only going to get worse.
Forgot that time they made Jinder Mahal ride a motorcycle for absolutely no reason so McIntyre could destroy it. It's because they already had a toy made for that too.
NBC Universal seems to respect the product. I would not mind them taking all rights to it whatsoever. It’s made the premium live events easily accessible and their library of WWE content is excellent. So yes, fuck Fox and fuck having to see Fox Business ads every other break.
