Who is reporting all this backstage beef? I don’t follow the gossip pages so things like this only come across my eyes when we discuss in this thread
AEW should hire The Briscoes, Brody King, Danhausen and Jonathan Gresham. Probably a few women as well. If they can get Bandido, Rush and some of the other Mexican guys as well, they should explore that option too.
Kings of the Black Throne (Brody King and Malachi Black) needs to happen in AEW. Dalton Castle should be on the list as well. A few weeks ago GCW announced a new west coast promotion and the Briscoes appeared at the LA show last weekend. The stage is set for them to make a big move into the top indie promotion spot.
Outside of trying to acquire the archives, only really interested in Bandido and Brody. But I'm fine if AEW doesn't make a play on anyone. Roster still pretty loaded.
That's a pretty good number for NXT since the "2.0" change. This is a good sign for a company hit with such bad luck...

Agreed. I basically want AEW to get every former ROH guy I’ve ever liked. ROH before NXT start raiding their talent was fucking great.
To be honest though, ROH has a bunch of guys who are better than ROH, they just seem to kind of lack a handful or more high level prospects like they used to always have a ton of in the 2000s and very early 2010s.
Briscoes are great. Jay Briscoe at least is a pretty solid singles guy as well. Guys are ROH OGs, want to see them get their due. Pretty sure Jay wrestled in the first ever ROH show, as did Bryan Danielson and Christopher Daniels
Isn't there a story about the Briscoes that they can't or won't work in the bigger companies. I think it was Cornette I heard talking about them and I believe it was heavily hinted they couldn't really go anywhere else
One of them had some homophobic tweets (maybe just a tweet) a while back right around the time they were thinking about signing a deal with WWE. After it came out the Fed backed off them. I don't think they're as blacklisted as Tessa Blanchard but that might be it
