Fun show. Sucks they had to rush the main event, but they have never had to run within a window of time before. Growing pains.
Homicide match made me sad. Mox tried his best but he's just too done at this point. Main event was too rushed, Briscoes deserved better. Sadly the ppv really lost steam as it went on.
That PPV was ass after that Katch promo. That promo was fucking awful. Before that it was pretty good overall. This was like the M. Night Shymalan of PPVs - starts out good then completely falls flat by the end. Having Soho win made no unless she is going to be wrestling there regularly or semi regularly. Same with Jeff Jarrett. They had the perfect opportunity to put two of their regular talents over against much more recognizable wrestlers to people who haven't watched GCW before, yet they don't. Moxley vs. Homicide was awful. The main event was a joke. Putting aside the fact it was way too damn short because they decided a bunch of people no one gives a shit about needed to be involved in the Cardona match to needlessly extend it, why are you giving Nick Gage a tag partner as poor as Matt Tremont?

There's nothing about him that is good. His look is awful. Tattoos are awful. Face is awful. Promos are awful. Wrestling is decent. Hard pass for me. Question for the thread. What do you want, not think, to happen at the Rumble? I want all the shine on KO. Rollins wins the belt, KO wins the Rumble. Those two pretending to be friends for the next month while KO contemplates which title to go after would be good TV. KO finally turns, put him and Rollins on Night 1 as the main event. Let the man be the evil tweener from the ROH/Cornette days. That was easily the best version of KO I've ever seen, and I want that version back badly.

I assume Gargano will debut in AEW tonight, and while I know most people will love it, I’m just kind of over all these NXT guys coming into AEW. Not saying I won’t enjoy Gargano, but it was more fun when AEW was building up its own guys. I guess the good news is that guys like MJF, Page, Darby, etc aren’t falling by the wayside. That said, I would rather be watching more Ricky Starks than a guy like Gargano.
i never get the build up their own guys argument. Most of the guys in WWE and almost everyone on NXT were huge indy stars before going there, same as AEW. If Gargano goes to dynamite on Wednesday he’ll have more eyes on him then he ever did in NXT. Does AEW get credit for building up their own guys with Hangman and Kenny? The Bucks? Eddie Kingston?
