AEW is delivering a dogshit product... Bashing WWE is all the kid has. Let him get his shit off... Let it all out Shawn.
he's like the Japanese soldiers in WW2 that came out of the jungle thinking the war was still going on, like bro give it up already, it's been over
She's amazing and her voice will be missed. Thought this might happen when her man left for AEW. Stinks... good luck to her
Oh that will piss off a certain type of mark. Probably ones who weren’t born until after ECW was dead, but it’s sacred ground man.
Really... people are nuts. I'm sure some OG talent will be used on the show. It will be cool to see how WWE transforms the place for TV.
a literal 40 year old virgin vs a small business owner with a loving family wow I wonder who between the two has what could be considered a dogshit life
It was a shithole 25 years ago and I don’t think they have done much with it since. Hopefully Paul E is back on TV to show up. That smaller building they ran in St. Louis looked good on TV. Tony should absolutely go that direction.
I've long said that both NXT and AEW should be doing venue's like this and not medium to large arenas. It looks cool on TV, it's easier to fill and the crowds will have energy. Plus in AEW wouldn't have the narrative that nobody is coming to the shows and its 90% empty. That product is ice cold... its a good idea to get out of even college sized arenas.
Well this news sucks. She was always way too talented to be there (and wrestling in general) for the long haul, but I was hoping for a couple more years at least.
From her Wikipedia it seems she has a lot of experience in music in acting, though the acting seems to be primarily of the musical variety.
they have so many money matches to work with when it comes to Jacob Fatu, the place came unglued when Bron and Jacob were sizing each other up
Nice to see signs of them trying to get the men's tag division up to par with the rest of the product. But hell no on the Creed Bros gear.
The have missed the mark on this repackaging of the Creeds. It was good to see them in suits for the backstage stuff. But the in ring gear is purposely over the top but its more eyesore than heat.
I'm curious if Roman is actually going to be a long term baby face. He isn't just yucking it up and playing to the crowd. It feels more than just a "lest not insult the audience and have him do a 180 overnight" His interactions with Jimmy, Jey and now Solo kinda feel like he's still only about himself and really hasn't had a change of heart and isn't about the family and still is only about his power. How they bring Paul back into this will be interesting. They have now cleared a path for Jey to unite even if its briefly.
AEW picking it up with the tag team division is a nice sign as well. US TV tag team wrestling outside of apparently NXT has been shit for quite a while now. As far as the Creeds go, I looked it up, and they look like Kurt Angle cosplayers.
even Tony Khan realized that intergender crap on the indies wasn't something that needed to be put on national TV it's one thing to do a spot or two in a match but we don't need full matches of it
There's a very stark difference between wanting to watch Rhea wrestle a man, and being a man wanting to wrestle Rhea.
I'm sorry but Howdy mask and name still are ridiculous to me. I just can't take him seriously. Rest of the guys look pretty legit, but the Howdy thing is a huge miss for me
There's just no way to do a full on intergender match in WWE without it making the man look like a total joke. They aren't gonna let Dom punch and kick her and it's not like he's someone with a ton of moves in his arsenal to begin with. I realize a scumbag chickenshit character like Dom isn't exactly someone you have to "keep strong" but there's just too many limitations involved with the booking of a match like that. Same reason I don't enjoy seeing Marina Shafir beat up the men in AEW, and she isn't even visually impressive in the first place like a Chyna or Rhea or Jordynne Grace. None of the men are gonna get their "revenge" on her so all it does is make the undercard guys look like even bigger geeks to get beat up by a 130 pound woman, regardless of her background.
It's a version of why Stephanie McMahon was both an amazing and horrible heel. She was amazing because she was so easy to hate. She was horrible because no one could ever do anything about it unless you do the intergender Angle/Rhonda WM thing, so it just resulted in things like making Big Show cry with no pay off.
