Daniel Bryan’s change from most over babyface in the world to despised villain in like 2 months time has been amazing. The main event of EC was incredible. It’s like we got a great EC match and then a great singles match for the title. Really thought they were going to give the belt to Kofi. Hopefully they do a New Day vs Bryan/Rowan/? match and if new day wins, Kofi gets a rematch at Mania. That crowd was hot for Kofi last night and if he can win the title at Mania the place would explode
Also the Iiconics legit crack me up in the ring. Have we ever had comedic female wrestlers before? No one comes to mind.
I'd have loved to see Kofi win it, Bryan win it back on Smackdown, and then Kofi invoke his rematch clause for Mania and win it back again.
There was some pretty good fantasy booking on reddit. Orton/Styles/Kofi triple threat for #1 contender at Fastlane. New Day vs Bryan/Rowan at fastlane. Personally I'd prefer the former, Kofi wins, Kofi wins the title at WM. Loses it to Bryan at backlash. Start setting up a feud for Summerslam between New Day, Bryan/Rowan/Harper?
Triple H is going to prove his diplomatic worth this year. He's getting inducted alongside the woman he dumped for the boss' daughter, who then went into a drug-addled spiral, accused him of domestic abuse, did a porno featuring versions of himself, his wife, and his father-in-law, and then died of an overdose. That's a lot of landmines to walk around during press interviews. And that's not even touching on the fact that Rick Rude was left out.
